The palstenian coffee was given to us to try and we normally don't like black coffee. This was so tasty with cardamom. It was not bitter at all. Amazing. Extra bonus for being a local business ??.

The food is served with generous portions and very comfortable atmosphere. A place to go down to that will take you back home to your mothers kitchen.“

“My husband and I and our two children visited this Yemeni restaurant today, we are Palestinian and have never tried Yemeni food, we wanted to try something new and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the grilled fish and it was the star, it was delicious! I had the Mandi chicken and it was so flavorful and tender. The Mandi rice was very good, especially with the tomato sauce and yogurt sauce. They had chicken nuggets and French fries for the kids. We also had the fattoush which I felt was lacking but not bad, it was fresh. Hummus was very good. My favorite part was the complimentary tea, very tasty. Our host and waiter was genuinely kind and attentive.“

Another issue is that i once came at 9:30pm and the person who works inside said they are already closed though it said they close at 10pm.“

“I recently got takeout from Abu Omar hala Lamb Shawarma Italian, and their shawarma is amazing! The meat was tender and flavorful, the bread was soft, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and everything stayed fresh in the packaging. Friendly staff and quick service made the experience even better. “I hate hate hate leaving even slightly negative reviews but I wish I had different expectations going here - I would totally still go again. That said the food is subpar (we had a few sushi plates and the A5 wagyu), the drinks were great, the staff was great, its beautiful in there, but I would just go for drinks if I went again. Also, we were planning to do dinner at 730 but this place really is better later (it was almost empty when we arrived).

“In the Village for the afternoon and randomly picked this restaurant for lunch. Was a beautiful day and we were seated at there covered outdoor patio. Greeted by an extremely helpful and knowledgeable waiter. Took his time to help us with the menu as this was our first time there. Hummus is home made fresh and excellent. Had a delicious Turkish pizza and can highly recommend the Doner Kebab plate. Can’t wait to return and explore more items on the menu. Exceptional service and food. Highly recommend. 🧿“

Dr ABDUR rauf owns the practice of Normandy urgent care 779 Normandy street suite 114 Houston TX 77015 The person on this picture is actually medical assistant licensed and he is foreign graduate who got his degree in 2003, but he never passed USMLE exam. However this guys has been working in this clinic for last 4 years posing as doctor and prescribing medication to children and adults. I believe there should be strong action that should be taken against this person and the clinic as they have been lie and cheat. Also they prescribe controls substance like codine and psychiatric medication.“

“Among the many options in this Westheimer food truck park, I had the pleasure of going to Big Chef for some late-night shawarma. And it was great!

I got the Italian shawarma, and I noticed they do some things differently (and better!) than many other places where I've had the same dish. First of all, the shawarma had a blend of cheeses that added some great flavor! The garlic sauce was superb, and they also included a kind of sweet mayo sauce that I'd never had before—also tasted fantastic! The seasoning and the flavor of the meat was on point too.

The pickled vegetables were a nice touch, and the fries got the job done. I can tell they do a lot of these staple dishes at a higher level, so I'm super excited to come back and try more!

Was not disappointed, I was craving filet tender meat with basmati rice, also opted to get the combo to try the chicken too. I loved the meat, and my husband got the chicken thighs and the house salad. Everything was good and we ate the leftovers the next day. Their basmatirice was cooked just right. I definitely will return. The bread wasn't my favorite, a little thin and chewy, but that was not what I was looking for, just the protein.“

I’m not one of those people that necessarily wants or need someone greeting me as soon as I enter the door, but at least acknowledge me when I get the counter. Today, November 12 - 11:44 AM I walked in and the guy had his back turned and was in his phone. I had to verbally get his attention in which he still said nothing. I explained I was picking up my order and gave my name, nothing was said. He grabbed my bag, sat it down, and went back to his phone. Common courtesy doesn’t take a lot, especially for paying customers.“
