“Did a search for good Greek food in the Pasadena area and this place showed. Drove from Deer Park to pick up lunch, and it did not disappoint. I got a mixed plate with beef and chicken...wonderful. The food is great, atmosphere is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. I will be coming back!!“

“This place is great! I’ve had their burger, fries, Iraqi kebab, and chicken shawarma, and everything I’ve tried has been solid. It’s rare to find a spot where pretty much everything on the menu tastes great but this place does.

My go to is the Iraqi kebab sandwich. I usually get two of them when I come here, and they’re always worth it. The chicken shawarma sandwich is also great.

The fries are really good too. They season them well, and the seasoning is different from what you usually get. They’re good even without ketchup, which says a lot.

The food is high quality, the portions are good, and the prices are very reasonable. You actually feel like you’re getting your money’s worth here.

Service is also great. The people working here are genuinely nice and take care of you. On top of that, they have great hours, which is hard to find in Houston since a lot of food spots close early. If you’re hungry late at night and want fresh high quality food that fills you up without overpaying, this is the spot. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I and our two children visited this Yemeni restaurant today, we are Palestinian and have never tried Yemeni food, we wanted to try something new and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the grilled fish and it was the star, it was delicious! I had the Mandi chicken and it was so flavorful and tender. The Mandi rice was very good, especially with the tomato sauce and yogurt sauce. They had chicken nuggets and French fries for the kids. We also had the fattoush which I felt was lacking but not bad, it was fresh. Hummus was very good. My favorite part was the complimentary tea, very tasty. FilFila's house sauce is very flavorful, as well.When you receive the sandwich, it can be a little daunting due to its size. But the enjoyment really begins when you take your first bite. The food is amazing. Genuinely hot, fresh and exceptionally flavorful. The portions are no joke either, for the price you pay you will be given a plate that is more than reasonable. Extra so if I must say.
The meals feel and taste home-cooked, like mom put something together for me after a long day.
Coming here I feel like I'm being fed rather than just coming to eat.

The staff are upmost kind, pleasant and genuine, the dining area is also clean and tidy. But do keep in mind this is a family owned establishment.

I have no complaints on this business. I pray for their success and a bountiful business. They will absolutely have a returning customer.“

“Mary’z has been my favorite in Houston for Lebanese food. It is the closest thing I have found to what my Tita made. I went to the Richmond location today and ordered the grapeleaves, cabbage rolls, cucumbers with laban, fried kibbe, and ashta with bananas. The kibbe, as per the menu and in authentic form, is made with pine nuts inside. Well, there were no pine nuts, but instead there were almond slivers. I asked the waitress about it and she told ME to ask the “chief”. I imagine she meant the chef. After some conversation, she asked the chef for me and came back to the table and said it’s always walnuts. Well, that’s wrong because it used to be pine nuts and now it’s almond slivers. I’m not sure where walnuts came into the picture. I decided my question was not going to be answered by this waitress and chef. In my opinion, the only reasons to substitute pine nuts with almonds would be availability (we’re in Houston and they are available within a mile of this location) or they are too high (this is a restaurant, if the ingredients go up, raise the price, don’t scrimp). I frequent this restaurant for authenticity, not because it’s cheap. I probably won’t be back to the Richmond location. It was better before they rebuilt. I prefer the Washington location where I’ve never had any complaint. Please don’t substitute pine nuts with almonds…“

Greeted by an extremely helpful and knowledgeable waiter. Took his time to help us with the menu as this was our first time there. Hummus is home made fresh and excellent. Had a delicious Turkish pizza and can highly recommend the Doner Kebab plate. Can’t wait to return and explore more items on the menu. Exceptional service and food. Highly recommend. 🧿“

“This restaurant really makes you feel like you’re in Lebanon the food is always fresh and delicious, and I’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend the mixed grill and the beef shawarma tawouk sandwich. They’re also a butcher, so I often pick up their frozen burgers and tenders to make at home perfect for days I don’t feel like cooking. One thing they could improve on is their extra sauce policy; since we come here often and usually order a lot, it would be nice if they were more generous with sauce instead of charging for extras.
