First of all, I made a reservation for 5, but was told when I got there at 5 that they were not opening until 6. We waited outside in the heat for them to open. About 5:45 we went to see if they were open yet, and they said no, but offered to let us come in out of the heat. When I asked the chef, why was I allowed to make a reservation for 5 if they weren't opening until 6. He replied he was still prepping the food. Sugar's is just no longer well run. Unfortunately the energy is low with staff, and the place was mostly empty. Not worth the stop and I have been a supporter as long as it's been in existence.
