We’ve been here twice and both times Michael was our waiter and Hung was our Hibachi chef, great customer service from both. No complaints, food was great and Hung made us his special spicy garlic butter sauce, really good with the filet mignon. We will definitely be back, we found our new spot. We prefer Akashi over Benihana & Shogun.

If you have had sushi from any place other than HEB, then this place is not worth going to. Not worth the money in any way. Also, hostess at the front was rude, didn’t even thank us for dinning with them and ignored us and sat the party of seven that walked in behind us. Will not be returning to Akashí on Lake Conroe. Overpriced and overrated.

Husband and I came here for the first time and it was incredible! Each roll we had was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Godzilla roll, it’s huge and we still ended up ordering another one! We also ordered the Lisa roll and that was really good too! My husband also said the tigers eye was yummy. The atmosphere was nice and our server was so great. His name was Keaton, and he was so polite and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Very nice atmosphere, great attentive service. The Menu is quite nice. Lots of options, Japanese, Chinese family style, Sushi menu is extensive AND Teppenaki grill tables. It is now one of our favorite places to dine.

Well, I am writing this review while I'm sitting here having waited for the last 30mins to be served...still no server. But they did serve others two tables over. What terrible service, we won't be back and I cannot recommend.

Family and I visited for dinner. Family of 5 ordered food. Everyone but me got their food relatively quick. I asked twice for my food. My family finished their meal and then enjoyed about 15 minutes of conversation. We asked for check, and they came out with my food. Approximately 45 minutes after the rest of our meal. All I ordered was 12 pieces of sashimi. This is second time this has happened. The management gives zero cares about wasting my time at dinner. There was no apology or any type of concern. I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

They moved locations a little while back and it was a total upgrade. Our view of the lake was amazing. Lily our server was super helpful and attentive. We ordered calamari, which needed a sauce to go with it, but otherwise it was great. We also ordered a mango tango roll and it was really delicious. The other two rolls were only okay - California and spicy tuna. We will be back. Atmosphere js unmatched.

We came here to celebrate my fiance’s birthday today. It’s a real treat. Great food our chef Hung, was awesome very friendly and entertaining. We had an awesome time. I, recommend it for anyone who likes great Hibachi food.
