Cute atmosphere. I ordered the smashburger and fries. Burger was salty but fries were good. It's an extra $4 just to add a patty. It has great views of the waterfront and the inside is very aesthetic. The bartender was nice and helpful and said Friday nights is the best time to come. I will be returning.

Great location but have had issues the last two times we visited.
First issue was double charges on my card. I called and spoke to someone who said they would look into it. This never happened I can only assume. The night this happened the bartender was out loud admittedly drunk so I chaulked it up to that. Amex refunded the amount that was incorrect so I moved on.
Second issue. Wife and I went for one drink each. Bill came to 33.85, I rounded to 38.00, my criedtncaed reflected a 10.00 tip... Stealing is stealing no matter the amount. You do not get to choose your own tip.
I also watch a woman complete wipe out waking to the restroom and the staff just explained this happen all the time since I was he floor is always wet.
Most likely we won't be back.

This is a great place on Lake Conroe for an adult spot. The ceviche it’s light and fresh. The garlic parm wings were crispy and full of flavor. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed the 80’s and 90’s music!

My wife and I went in this place and was so disappointed the prices don’t match the drink quality but the most upsetting is they talk about customers badly exp women in spainish! They called my wife a rich old lady in Spanish be careful who you support! Very rude and prices are way too high!

Bar Lago is by far the best bar in town! Shout out to Demi, Luca, Dylan, Tommy, Brie, Eric and Josh and anyone else I missed. Bar Lago consistently makes my husband and I feel welcome. The place has great music, great service, great drinks and great food! Atmosphere is perfect and the energy is always positive vibes. Perfect location close to the water. We always have a blast!

The manager was extremely unprofessional and disorganized. She clearly lacks proper training, which was evident in the way she handled our concerns. During our conversation, her barbacks kept interrupting, which made the situation even worse. At one point, she clapped at us as if we were children and told us to “keep it classy” ironic behavior for someone running a bar.
If you can’t handle your clientele respectfully, maybe you shouldn’t be in this business. I will never return to this location. Zero stars absolutely.

We really wanted to love this place due to its location and menu, but after 5 visits, it continues to disappoint. 1st time we came great service, food was good, and we were so excited to come back. 2nd-5th times food was not on par, we ordered a flatbread and a burger when they were slow (only 1-2 other folks in the place). The burger came out and the flatbread anywhere from 20-40 mins later. I asked several times to inquire about the status of my flatbread and was told it’s coming. Tonight was the point of no return, we ordered a flatbread and chicken wings while only 2 other individuals were in the restaurant. We were brought the incorrect flatbread initially, 30 minutes after that, we were brought the correct flatbread and when I asked about my husbands wings, I was told they’re coming. 15 minutes later my husband goes in to asks about them (we were sitting outside), and was told, “they’re coming”. 15 minutes later they show up unsauced and raw. My husband took a bite and spit it out immediately as he tasted blood. Absolutely disgusting and needless to say we won’t be back.

Such a great spot right on Lake Conroe. The craft cocktails are very good and the food is delicious. The tortilla chips are homemade, seasoned and quite tasty. Perfect spot for a drink or two and a nice bite near the lake. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so a little something for everyone. Stop by and give it a shot - you won't be disappointed and if you are...that's on YOU!

Wednesday night steak night is awesome! Been here a few times, always awesome service, Demi behind the bar kills it everytime and has such a great attitude! Highly recommend coming here for a very relaxed atmosphere, and great food and service!
