Truly enjoyed a family outing to Bernhardt Winery on SH 105, just east of Plantersville. Nice pastoral setting just off the highway. Had booked a wine-tasting, and since an artisanal bread and craft festival was also advertised, decided to make an afternoon of it. Glad we did, although a tad disappointed to find no bread vendors at the festival! The visit started out being blustery and nippy, with the sun emerging a couple of hours later and warming up the area quite nicely. Mingled among the crafts, cosmetics, and food truck options, and purchased some items of cosmetics and jams/preserves - Copper the house Labrador proved to be a delightful companion! The live music by a lone guitarist/singer was wonderful. Since spots were available, we ended up on an earlier batch for the tasting. The offerings were exquisite, with the whites surprising us most pleasantly - Sunset and Pinelli were true standouts! The Grande Charcuterie Board was priced a tad high at $30, however. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable - Nate and others at the front desk, to Debra Jo and Lexie our hostesses; Bill’s expert intervention in describing certain wines was most welcome. Even met Jerry, the owner, and had a pleasant chat. Ended the visit by joining the Soleil Club, and now looking forward to visiting again in 2026, and perhaps even staying for a night or so at the bed and breakfast above the winery. All in all an enjoyable family outing so close to Metro Houston.

Mr. Bernhardt was the first person we met on site and he was very nice in directing us where to go for the Pairing Event. Very friendly staff, wonderful grounds. Had a very relaxing time on property with nice live music. Will definitely make this a go-to place to just buy a bottle, sit outside, and listen to music.

The concerts on this beautiful property are a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I thoroughly enjoy the intermissions when the owner addresses the crowd with his reflections on various topics. Yesterday he had a beautiful, thoughtful Veteran's Day message which was very touching. Keep up the good work!

After a rough start, Bill and Cindy made it a visit to remember. We purchased two tastings. It included tastings, winery history, and a tour of the vineyards. Bill and Cindy went above and beyond to make this visit absolutely unforgettable.
The workers are rude. I have never seen suck rudeness and unprofessional behavior. The floors and tables were disgusting and dusty!

We saw Lights Out Vocal on Sunday. They performed Frankie Valli as well as other artists! They were awesome. We would definitely go see them again! So sorry we missed Saturday as they performed the Beach Boys! The renovations to the winery since we were last there are unbelievable! Kudos to the owners!! We did the lawn chairs but next time we will invite friends and do a table of 4! They have ceiling fans but we took our 6 inch travel battery fans with us and we were most comfortable! Creedence Clearwater and Rolling Stones on our list ! We look forward to more concerts! We had a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and it was great! We had a hamburger with fries off food truck and it was delicious. Altogether an absolute wonderful evening!!
