Cute little winery. Had a lovely time with friends. Delicious wines.

Had a blast on our first visit to Bernhardt Winery. It's located right outside of Plantersville and a very nice and quiet escape from the hustle of city life. Get away and order a flight of wines and you'll find the one that's right to your palate. Don't be surprised if you leave there with several bottles for the house. So tell your family and friends about this nice great away.

A friend and I looked forward to going out to the winery for their advertised event featuring Mimosas. What a huge disappointment beginning with the girl taking our order. She gave us the bare minimum regarding information and even added the I don't know shrug for good measure. There was no welcome extended to us at all in addition to the poor description of what we planned to purchase. The advertisement for the winery promises a unique experience. Ours was a far cry from being even acceptable. It doesn't take much to be pleasant and welcoming when you are in the business of hospitality. I would suggest a course on how to make guests feel welcome and how to communicate about products being offered by the winery.

What a find! The staff is so personable and you can tell they just love what they are doing. The owner is eager to share the story of the winery and winemaking. Great music, great ambiance!!

We used to enjoy coming out here but not so much any more. We were there yesterday (after the last so-so experience) and there was a pretty good crowd for the Sip and Shop and the bottling of a couple of lovely new red wines. As it has been the last couple of times, we had to stand in line a long time to be served when we wanted our first service of a glass of wine (and the bottle of the Red Zinfandel we wished to bottle) to take around to shop and to enjoy the performance of Scott Byrnes. Please become more service oriented...You have great volunteers! Utilize them in the front so that they can educate consumers before they get to the two(! )people working the registers (with glitches) and trying to explain the winery, the grapes, the wine, the "sliders", the flights vs. the free tasting, etc. Assume everyone is a first time visitor and try to help them appreciate what you have to offer. For instance: Back in the day, Bernhardt served their wines in glasses instead of plastic cups. I'm fine with small tastings in plastic but a $10-$12 "glass" should be in glass...your hope should be that I appreciate it enough to purchase a bottle. And if I purchase a bottle of wine to consume on premise that should be chilled, I need an ice bucket (IN TEXAS) and GLASSES in order to appreciate the wine and to perhaps purchase multiple bottles. We did purchase a bottle of the new Red Zinfandel to take home and made purchases from two of the vendors. But we did not stand in line to purchase a second glass to enjoy on the property and instead moved on to another winery to enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

We are so thankful for the very accommodating staff at Bernhardt! We planned a surprise engagement for my sister using their loft above the winery and it was a huge success! The staff was so helpful with setup and offering to help in anyway they could. The beautiful ambiance of this winery was the perfect setup for the proposal! We even had an amazing wine tasting right before the proposal that was so much fun! The wine was amazing but the real star of the show was JoAnn! She was so personable and knew so much about the different wines and ingredients. If you plan on doing a tasting, ask for JoAnn!! Well worth it. Thank you all for helping make my sister's special day even more special!

The wine tasting experience at Bernhardt Winery during our getaway weekend was exceptional. The picturesque vineyard setting, knowledgeable staff, and diverse selection of wines made it a memorable visit. Highly recommend for fellow wine enthusiasts. Cheers!

12.4.23 My hubby and I went to listen to some live music with a few wonderful couples from our subdivision. What a wonderful place and great company. It was a Bob Seger cover band. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages and purchase alcohol from them. It was a little breezy when we went - we all just brought blankets and pot luck food. Several of our neighbors have been here before and said during the warmer months they have several food trucks and tons of people. We had a great time getting to know some of our neighbors, eating and listening to the music. This is a must go place. Look online to what musicians are coming and buy your tickets. (I think they are $20.)

Beautiful vineyard, they have different entertainment. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The food was awesome, and the wines were good and interesting. They have a wine for every taste bud. My daughter and I we had a flight of various wines. She received 5 sweet wines, and I chose sweet and semi. We had a great time. We need to check out these hidden jewels in our state. We will go back.

Beautiful setting to spend an afternoon listening to live music and sharing a bottle of yummy Moscato made out at Bernhardt Winery. The price is reasonable also. During the concerts they have different types of foods available for purchase. A small dance floor. Wonderful atmosphere. See their website. They are building a pavilion that will be available this coming year for concerts as well. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we always have.

Cool place to relax with good wine. Went to the Adele tribute and it was fun. We were able to bring our own charcuterie board. I like sweet wine, so we bought moscato.
