First time visiting this establishment as I just moved to the area. Chose this place based on the reviews. Here's my take:
Chocolate glazed donut: SPOT ON! That's what a donut should taste like.
Ham and Cheese Kolache: bread was light, fluffy and flavorful. The ham and cheese left something to be desired. The ham was one huge slice and really didn't have any flavor whatsoever. The cheese was so minimal that I didn't even notice it was there. I suggest sliced or shaved ham with cheese mixed in the middle of the slices so it can melt throughout the kolache, but what do I know? I don't own a kolache factory. All I know is that I've had kolaches from Schulenburg and West and the ham was shaved, had a hint of saltiness and cheese melted throughout. That's my idea of a ham and cheese kolache. This wasn't bad, but certainly not worth ordering again, in my opinion. I did noticed they had a Chapell Hill sausage kolache and I should have ordered that. I'm a CH sausage snob. Best dang store bought sausage on the market, hands down.
Taco: I didn't realize how much filling the taco would have when I ordered it, not that I'm complaining. It was delicious...sort of. The ingredients were perfect along with their green salsa. They complemented themselves perfectly...and not spicy hot either. . One small problem: the tortilla was NOT homemade and that was evident. The smell and the texture just didn't do justice for this taco. It was a perfect breakfast taco filling and then bam, store bought tortilla. Shameful!
I'll try this place again and order something different, I'm sure, just to enjoy other goodies from this establishment. It's worth the visit, but I thought I'd inform the readers of what I noticed.

This is the place to be! Everything is freshly prepared and always spotless. The staff is always attentive and quick to take your order. My personal favorite is the breakfast tacos; you can easily fill up on one.

I’ve been coming to this establishment for about 3 years now, this morning they got my order wrong. So I called them over the phone to let them know that I paid for sausage and bacon on one of my sandwiches but they only put the bacon and not the sausage. After working a 12 hour shift I did not want to go back and bring the sandwich I told her just write my name down I’ll be back in the morning when I get off to order the same sandwich so rather than charging me for the extra meat they can just add it to my sandwich since I paid for it today but didn’t receive it. I didn’t ask for anything for free! This Asian lady (she wouldn’t give me her name) that claim she was the manager laughed at me over the phone and said they gave me the sandwich with sausage on it basically calling be a liar. So I went in with the sandwich to show them there was no sausage she basically said somebody must have ATE the sausage and was laughing like it was a joke VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Then she proceeded to say they have video so I asked her to pull the video and watch it with me and show be that they put the sausage on there. She got her phone looked at the video and put the phone in her back pocket and proceeded to give me my refund that I finally asked for bc I no longer wanted to do business with them. I said well I thought you was going to show me the video that proved they put the sausage on there she said it’s not clear. So I asked to see the video when I looked at the video I asked her to show me where they put the sausage on the sandwich bc I don’t see it she couldn’t So then she said I think they may have put extra bacon on your sandwich instead of sausage by this time I’m pissed because ma’am being a manager all you had to do was make my order right! I didn’t ask for nothing free no refund just wanted what I paid for. My total was $14.35 why would I lie about something that cost .60 cents?! The manager hated to admit that she was wrong and that they made a mistake which I understand that anyone can make a mistake the problem I had was I’m a paying customer she laughed in my face and basically insulted me by saying we must have ate the sausage! WHOMEVER THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS THE LADY THAT YOU HAVE AS YOUR MANAGER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING SHE NEEDS TO TAKE SOME CLASSES ON HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS, HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS AND HOW TO ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY WHEN SHE IS IN THE WRONG!!! 7-11-2025 update “the owner” responded and again no one is willing to admit they made a mistake and was in the wrong!!! Call the police for what? I didn’t curse or anything simply was explaining what the problem was! She claim they had it on video that they gave me the correct sandwich so I asked for her to show the video she got her phone out SHE looked at the video then put the phone in her back pocket still refusing to say they made a mistake! No she didn’t use the word liar but she said we must have eaten it already bc they gave it to me so basically she’s calling me a liar without using the actual word. She was rude over the phone and laughing that’s why I went in person asking to speak to a manager!!! I asked to see the video and it doesn’t show that they added the sausage like she claimed NOW she preceded to say I think they put extra bacon on the sandwich. Ok cool everyone makes mistakes but for a manager to go back and forth trying to make the customer out of a liar is UNPROFESSIONAL AND SAD!!! I read some of the bad reviews that you responded to again according to you everyone else is wrong NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL! The lady refused to give her name she said it was family owned clearly she’s family bc your defending her instead of acknowledging a mistake was made! How far would you run for a donut ? Today I ran 16 miles for this delicious treat, this a weekly pilgrimage that one must make. At mile 8 when that sweet sugary fried bread touches your lips you know there isn’t an amount of miles you can’t run. God bless the holy creator of these donuts 🙏
