Salsa and chips were great! Big NO on the chicken enchiladas. Very disappointed, seemed like they were bought in the frozen section at the store and reheated, very dry and hardly any meat. Wait staff was friendly enough, just not very attentive. I’d look for another place next time I’m hungry.

I was very pleased with the meal and service last night for dinner. The food was excellent being delicious and hot. The service was great and walked out full. Probably the best meal that I ever received at any El Bosque.

I've been to many restaurants in Montgomery. I base my first review on chips & salsa. Chips are homemade, salsa great. I prefer spicier. I asked my waiter for a more spicy, Diablo type sauce for my meal and he brought me the MOST delicious salsa!!! Food is not greasy. Charro beans are filled with bacon. I honestly didn't find a flaw besides realizing there wasn't grease in my food that I was used to, found the side of guac on my plate had actual chunks of avocado, and realized it DOESN'T need to have all that normal grease in there. This needs to be your favorite spot because it is now mine! Pictured below was a lunch plate and of course below $20 ❣️

This El bosque location is not it. The Conroe one is so much better and worth the drive. The fried stuffed jalapeños are soggy and barely fried at the Montgomery location.

I don't believe the food is worth the price they charge also they had advertised $8 jumbo margaritas on the rocks but got charged full price. Not the best Mexican food in the area for sure esp for their expensive prices.

Very slick floors, be careful. The meat inside the food was good but the red sauce on the enchiladas was horrible, very tangy. The taco that came with my platter was smaller than a taco bell taco. Wont be returning.
Food was good. Waiter was nice and attentive. Not a fan of warm salsa. The Queso Flameado is good, but the cheese gets hard too quickly. Please have an option for cold salsa.

We have been here more than once in the last 6 months. We always try to give a restaurant at least two tries even if the first one is negative because it may just have been an off day for them. Unfortunately, we will not be back to this location. The gravy on the chicken enchiladas may as well have been catsup. The menudo was so citrusy and lacked a full flavor body of other peppers that it was inedible. The chips are always warm and very thin, and the salsa is on point. The location is awesome, the service is very good, and the places always clean. They just need a new cook or new recipes for my taste.
