Shrimp and chicken was great!! Steak, although it was good, it was a little tough. If I may suggest, offering filet at an additional charge would be awesome.

I ordered Pork egg roll (2), chicken, steak, n shrimp hibachi that came with fried rice and a salad, and California roll (8pcs) that I added a crunchy topping to and only spent $25.90 (w/tax added). EVERYTHING was fresh, flavorful, and delicious!!! The yum yum sauce was very tasty! I will definitely return!!!!

For cheap take-out hibachi it’s solid. Don’t expect super high quality at the price point, but that said it’s on-par with most local hibachi restaurants.

I saw all the great reviews, and decided to give them a try.. I ordered crab ragoon, and the The Dragon roll.
The Crab ragoon are big, but no crab.. Literally only cream cheese, no flavor.. I'd pass on those next time.. The Dragon Roll was good.. Nothing special. Roll was 12.50 and crab ragoon was 6.50 on menu 5.50 rang up.. W Tax 17 and some change.. I don't know if I would try again.. Maybe

My family had the steak Hibachi, Sesame chicken, crab Rangoon, and some sushi.
It was all good, but our favorites were definitely the steak Hibachi and Sesame chicken. The fried rice was amazing and the portions were great! Definitely a good spot for the Chinese food craving fix.

This place makes excellent sushi! And they do it at one of the best prices you're going to see around here.
They don't over rice the sushi, you while you may end up with smaller pieces than what you're used to, it actually tastes better this way. You get more flavor from the core ingredients than you do get from rice. The seaweed flavor stands out more too.
This place has your order ready within 15 minutes or so.
The bang for your buck is terrific. Two rolls for 10 bucks. There are no prompts to tip when picking up, which is refreshing.

I'm not normally drawn to inexpensive sushi/hibachi takeout, but you guys were raving (4.6 stars?!?) and it's right across the street, so curiosity got the better of me and I visited for takeout dinner. My experience can be summarized as: You almost get what you pay for.
This is a very inexpensive (cheap) place. There are only two tables so it's designed for take-out. I took out the Steak Hibachi dinner ($10.50) and the 6-piece sushi ($9). Both would have been even more disappointing except...what do you expect for $10.50 and $9? Not good, but not terrible. The steak on the hibachi had a decent dark steak flavor but the meat itself was very low quality - about half of the 1/2 inch squares were filled with gristle, and some pieces had to be spit out. The fried rice was okay, but the sauteed vegetables were actually quite good. It came with a non-descript salad which was basically a hand-full of lettuce with a few slices of cucumber. Both the steak and salad were accompanied by a very thick dressing/sauce that was mostly mayo - orange for the steak, white (ranch?) for the salad. Not good, but, again, not awful.
So, 6 pieces of sushi for $9? That's both intriguing and scary. Turns out the sushi was neither - the pieces were small and lacked the bright flavors and snap of truly fresh salmon and tuna. At $1.50/piece they were overpriced and I can't recommend them - anyone who likes sushi will find this disappointing.
I concluded that there was a small chance that I'd be back for the hibachi, but not steak - maybe try the chicken or pork. But then I went to Akashi for lunch the next day and had their bento box for $12.95. It's infinitely better - real food prepared well, with soup, salad, AND a California roll - and it's only $2.45 more. There's really no reason to go to Hibachi Express.

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I go here almost once a week. Love the hibachi chicken or shrimp dinner and their shaggy dog rolls. So much better than Akashi or shogun’s imo.
