The view is stunning. The food is delicious and the live music is perfect. Especially the piano player. Hayden had people gathered around his piano all night playing all requests. Highly recommend you come on a night he is playing.

My husband, eldest son and I went for Sunday brunch. The elegant restaurant and the three walls of windows view of the lake were invigorating. The variety of breakfast foods (even for a vegetarian like me) was fresh and cooked with creativity and care. But what really made the meal special was the people: the talented and interesting omelet chef, the shawarma (well, I didn't eat this, but I was impressed this was included in a brunch buffet) griller, the attentive waiters and the accomplished pianist.

I felt like queen for a day, and at an exceptionally reasonable cost.

Great view of the lake from the huge dining room — the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend brunch. We took my sister here for her birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better choice.

The buffet was excellent, with plenty of variety and everything fresh and well-presented. The waffle station chef was friendly and made golden, perfectly crisp waffles right on the spot.

Our waiter was attentive without hovering, and the staff overall made us feel genuinely welcomed.

Between the peaceful lakeside setting, great service, and delicious food, this place made for a wonderful birthday brunch. Highly recommend!

My husband I had our wedding at Walden. We feel unbelievably blessed and lucky to have had our wedding at your venue. This is the perfect place for a wedding. Everyone appreciated the beauty and nature ❤️. The only thing we didn’t like was the $300 cost for a dance floor, the dance floor was too small for our small wedding. 3 couples dancing on the dance floor was a uncomfortable space and guests noticed it. We should’ve not have requested for a dance floor but overall the experience was amazing. Definitely recommend it… 😊

Don’t waste your time here. The service is painfully slow, and the manager strolls around with his hands in his pockets as if nothing’s wrong. The few waiters they have are completely overwhelmed, running around with no organization or manners. When we raised our concerns, there wasn’t even an apology

The worst dining experience for my wife and I we've ever experienced. It was so bad it was comical. Two hours waiting on main course THAT NEVER CAME. But they did manage to bring us a bill before we got up and walked out. Not worth going into detail. I would say this place is in need of better management.

We have been coming here for years, the quality of the food used to be really good.
We went back twice this month but the quality of the food is really disappointing!
Everything is cold including items that are supposed to be served hot, for example the meat seems to stay way too long at room temperature! The food is not tasty. They have much less choices that they used to have at the buffet. The grilled vegetables weren’t grilled as mentioned but steamed and ton of cheap cheese on top that made them very chewy. The desserts look like thawed out from a frozen box and tasted rancid. Awful taste!
The internet based payment system wasn’t working, after waiting at least half an hour, they wanted to do it the old fashioned way, writing all our credit card info on a piece of paper, we disagreed due to our card data security. So finally we agreed to go back next week to pay in person, which will be a waste of time. They should really have a back up system for their internet payment processing!
The view is nice and the staff is friendly and they have a pianist but it doesn’t change the fact that the food lately is not good at all. It’s not even cheap: $60 for a
couple + tip for the buffet!
I think it’s the last time we would eat here , it’s too disappointing and I had a stomachache for hours.
We used to really enjoy it here - please change the Sunday buffet quality back to what it used to be!

Went for Sunday brunch. Zero vegetables, all carbs and the meat was dried out brisket!! You think a brunch would have prime rib or something a step up. Use to be good but has gone down hill! Sad!

This place has really declined since my previous visits. We were seated quickly and received water and drinks from the bar, but no one came back to take our food order. After 30 minutes, I finally flagged down a waitress—only to be told 15 minutes later that they were out of a key ingredient in the dish I ordered.

I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. After waiting another 10 minutes, my party and I decided to leave. Ironically, as we were walking out, the waiter came after us to say they had suddenly found the missing ingredient.

Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Poor communication, long waits, and lack of accountability really overshadowed the evening.
