We came to Montgomery for a football game and ordered 3 bbq brisket sandwiches, a combo meat plate and peach cobbler. The food was so BLAND! Service was unwelcoming. Everything was microwaved nothing made fresh. Definitely told the rest of the team not to stop. Talk about take one for the team…

Absolutely delicious BBQ! We got the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket plate! Portion size was EXCELLENT, and taste was 10/10! We tried the mac & cheese and tots for sides and both were great!

Ken, the owner is wonderful, he took the time to check on us and chat! It was a great experience and we can’t wait to come back! I’ll be dreaming about that pulled pork!

Came for dinner with my son. Nice atmosphere, but very disappointed in the food. The ribs were mostly cold, with one small part unusually hot—like they had been microwaved. The bones were brittle, and the food seemed like leftovers. I trusted the good reviews, but my experience was poor. Maybe it was an off day, but I would not recommend eating here.

Hands down probably the best tasting brisket I’ve ever had. I got the baked potato, seasoned to perfection, this is the only potato I can enjoy without smothering it in barbecue sauce

The brisket was tender and moist. The ribs were cooked to perfection; sausage was tasty! Sides of potato salad and beans were delicious. I drove over 30 minutes to this place after reading an excellent review on “I Love Conroe” (Facebook thread). We are new to Magnolia and craving good BBQ. The owner and his employee were extremely pleasant and attentive for my
TO GO order. It was definitely worth the drive and the flavor definitely reminded me of family recipes for beans and potato salad.

We got two rib plates, one with beans and potato salad, one with Mac and cheese and tater tots. The ribs are full of flavor! All of the sides we tried were also delicious.

The food is amazing, ribs fall off the bone and the brisket is moist. A close family feeling every time you come in.
