Kloesel's Steakhouse & Bar

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because there was a hair in my drink and another hair under some lettuce.I love the vintage building and the food is very good.I noticed many had long loose ly done hair in a ball cap or just down.I would recommend the staff wearing their hair back tighter in the cap or wearing a hairnet.

I’d like to start off by saying I think this place is great, I’ve had it catered to work a few times. Decided to order food for work tonight and had a couple of issues. 1) we ordered 17 burger plates. 3 of them came without Pattie’s. They sent the 3 they forgot in a separate box. 2) no sides come with the plate. Those are extra. Now, I wouldn’t normally have an issue with either of these things, but for the amount of $ we spend on food here and the amount of business we send their way, you’d expect flawless service execution each time. As for the sides, $70 for 16 orders of French fries should merit more than 15 fries per box. Other than that, I think the food here is great. Just need more attention to detail.

Hidden Gem of the region. Great service with good food. It felt like what I remembered from my childhood. I wish I lived closer so that I could visit more often.
I had the Klub sandwich and was stuffed and loved every bite.

Unfortunately, the servers left us sitting for more than 30 minutes when there were only a few customers. Actually had to go look for someone to get our bill. The food was pretty good but with substandard service I would not recommend unless the service staff gets educated.

Big historic steakhouse. We enjoyed everything beyond the steak too, including the chicken noodle soup, toasted bread, salad with spicy ranch, and green beans.
They have several dining rooms and an adjacent bar.
A historical marker in front of the building explains the history of the site.
They have a large free parking lot.

We stopped in for lunch, as we were celebrating our anniversary and my sons graduation from high school today.
The steaks were grilled to perfection, and the sides were amazing. My wife had fish ponchartrain, and it was absolutely amazing. Fresh, and very flaky.
Shannon was our server, and she was super sweet and lots of fun.
We'll definitely be returning.
Overall a great experience.

Not impressed, expensive lunch. I mean it's a nice place in the middle of nowhere, but pricey.

A historic restaurant in small town Texas. The family that owns it have been doing it for decades and really know what they are doing. I had the chicken fried steak and it was cooked perfectly. The green beans were exceptional. I would absolutely come back :) Bonus picture of a rainbow and jack rabbit as I explored Molton after dinner.

Worst experience ever. Went there after a funeral to have 2 main waitresses treat my family like crap and be extremely rude on a saddening day. Will never go there again.

Delicious home cooking. I had one of the lunch specials. Fried chicken, seasoned rice, chuck wagon corn, spinach salad(amazing) toasted bread and sweet tea. A complimentary chocolate chip cookie is included. Fast, friendly service. $17

If you’re looking for a true small-town Texas experience, Kloesel’s Steakhouse in Moulton is a place to go! I had the prime rib, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in their food.

What made the experience even better was the atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly – that warm, welcoming small-town vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re passing through or a local, this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

The restaurant has amazing food and waitstaff, never once have I had anything to complain about this place, however the bar is a different story! A group of us, 3 to 6 every time, have been in several times to listen to the music. The two women working the bar are horrible. They are rude and super slow with your drinks. Many times in one night several of us had to go up to the bar and try to get our own drinks ordered only to be told by the waitress to go sit down and she will take our order there, others went up there to find both outside together smoking and leaving it unattended for customers! I'm sure the owner wouldn't like this. another party there that we didn't know was complaining about it as well, so it wasn't just us. Every time we went in for music (3 times in the last month)was like this with the same waitstaff. No one wants to go back because of this, such a shame as we all enjoyed the musicians. I might add that we didn't have just a few beers, we ordered appetizers as well, we probably would go more and stay longer if the staff in the bar was better.

Was excited to eat at Kloesel’s but excitement turned to disappointment.
Food was way overpriced and preparation poor. I ordered the chicken fried chicken breast and the grease oozed out of it. It was inedible. I only ate my baked potato and salad. The waitress asked if I didn’t like my food and I explained what was wrong. No accommodation was made.
I would never recommend anyone go to this restaurant for dinner and I will not return.
It was a huge waste of money and a disappointing end to our vacation.
