Applebee's Grill + Bar

Got my food today and literally all they did was just throw it in the microwave. My blonde was dang near hard as a rock! The beef was hardly any and cheese was the giveaway that it had been microwaved. A waste of time and money. The hostess was nice but the cooks definitely didn’t care and rushed this meal.

This Applebee's is more like a local ma & pa restaurant. While there were some guests passing through, locals made up most of the guests. The problem with that is all the attention and customer service went to them. The two consecitive nights I had dinner here the customer service was lacking from the hostess to my server. The food was okay but two nights of it was enough for me but I was only in town for those two nights and my hotel was next door.

I don't really mind what I mentioned above becuase all I want is to be served promptly and receive my food just as quick. So this review is merely based on two things. First, they were out of Miller Lite from the draft for two nights and while sitting at a hi-top at the bar, I could see right into the kitchen and saw a female cook wipe her nose with the back of her hand and proceded to continue working without washing her hands. She did later put gloves on btw. I do not wish to be contacted nor wish to have a generalized comment from the manager.

Everything was great had a great server who was new learning everything. The flaw the bartender was snoody didn't want to make a drink for anyone unless u was setting at the bar waited 15 minutes for my first drink and another 15 for my second. The bad thing is I sat and watched her look over the ticket.
Would try it again as long as the bartender wasn't here.

Ordered two 8 oz steaks off of DoorDash. When I received them, I noticed they were very small. I weighed them just to see…. one was 5 oz and the other was 4 oz. I paid $50.

We went out to eat tonight for my moms birthday and we won’t be back. 2 men at the bar basically yelling to each other and shouting curse words back and forth also laughing very loudly with children in the restaurant and of course they were sitting at the bar… no one told the 2 guys to tone it down so we basically heard that the whole time we were there. Service was okay my dad ordered a bourbon street steak cooked medium and it came out rare since it was a thick steak so we sent it back and they fixed it. Our server Jason over charged us for our ticket which was supposed to be $82.28 but he charged us for $98.00 and some change and I had no clue until I called my gift card service to check since Jason came up and said that there was only a dollar and a couple cents left on the card which he took so I had to call and talk to the manager Amanda which happily helped and assured me that it would be taken care of. We left Jason $20 which we really thought was a big tip but we gave it to him anyway because that’s all we had in cash. My moms mixed drink was also made wrong and the bar denied that they made it wrong. Safe to say we will NOT be back.

Came in from Houston Texas for Dinner after a long drive. Had the Grilled Blackened Salmon, Loaded Potatoes and Broccoli. Broccoli was cold and PLEASE stop serving powered Potatoes! They were absolutely horrible. Salmon was ok....no where near blackened. Our waitress was Wonderful..her name was Renée. She was friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere was good but too cold..as it was 50 degrees outside! Also sat in a booth which was uncomfortable due to sitting directly on springs! Need new benches.

Great waitress food was very good. If your a texas fan I guess atmosphere was great. Always be a Minnesota sports fan

We saw that they were having a free meal for Veterans for Veterans Day from a special menu. One of the choices was a 6 oz steak. So many Veterans came they ran out of steaks. However my husband chose shrimp. It was OK, but this is not a seafood place. I chose chicken and and penne pasta. Very good and the garlic bread melted in your mouth. In the past I did not like Applebee's food. They have upped their game and we are going back. Open until 11 pm. Wait staff was very nice.

As a veteran on veterans day, we came to Applebee's in Mt pleasant, TX for an advertised free meal but they ran out of the 6oz steak and we then ordered the larger steak and offered to pay the difference we either no as the answer or not able to ring it up. No way to treat our veterans!!

The food was so good. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We got our food quickly. All was well, except i had to fight the flies buzzing around my table and food i could not eat comfortably or in peace. There were 2 of them. There are plenty of parking spots. $34.00 for 2 people. Server Zackery was a sweet heart. Very good server!

I sat alone at the bar having a drink and grazed on my appetizer of spinache and artichoke dip in a creamy sauce with tortilla chips. It was delicious. I enjoyed a cocktail as I relaxed. After some time I ordered the shrimp and grilled chicken breast to go as I had demolished the appetizer. I don't think I'll be ordering the same entree any time soon it was a wonderful meal however I'm more of a steak person. The meal came with potatoes which were very pleasing. I enjoyed my dining experience here in Mt Pleasent and do recommend it.
