This was our first time to ever grace Applebee's. It was a good experience. You really must check out the Pickle Fries, with a Mexicali Ranch. We enjoyed them. We ordered the Quesadilla burger and the Quesadilla salad. Bost dishes were quite tasty. The establishment wasn't overly busy, so our wait staff, Kayla, took real good care of us. She appeared to know her position well. She communicated well and was patient with us as we didn't know the menu. I was impressed for my first visit to an Applebee's.

Expect your mileage to vary. My wife and I are used to eating at locations that are consistent, and know how to serve alcohol. At this location, we both ordered a dirty martini to start with. We were close to two full shots short in both drinks, and they used vodka by default, instead of gin, which is unusual. We are used to being asked, if they typically use both.

We then ordered two old fashioned whiskeys, hold the syrup/sugar. Both were decently made, but regular ice was used, meaning you had to drink it quickly.

We ordered garlic parmesan wings as an appetizer. Pretty decent. A little undercooked, but not in the raw sort of way - more of a 'won't fall off the bone' sort of way. Pretty decent though.

We both also ordered a variant of the top sirloin, rare. Sides (veggies for both of us,) were decent. The top sirloin was cooked rare on both plates. Top sirloin is a cheap, firm cut, but it was the best they had. As far as sirloin goes, it was decent. Nothing wrong with it. Shrimp was a little undercooked on both plates, meaning it didn't have much of a 'pop' when you eat them, and they still tasted of ocean fish, but overall, edible.

We both ordered salads. Fairly plain, low amounts of cheese, extremely basic (just lettuce,) with small amounts of dressing. Wife needed to ask for extra dressing.

Atmosphere was fine: plenty of room for improvement, but nice enough for a couple when we went (1530 in the afternoon.)

Had a group of people in here and had us sitting here waiting for one hour while they just sit there their check was paid and was just sitting there and had customers waiting for an hour

After being seated forgotten about. No drinks. No service. Watched for 30 plus minutes other get served and the servers just ignored my group. Asked the person that seated us first assistance and he went to a server that directed his attention to others that were already served. When he finally turned his attention to our table he acted like we were an inconvenience and was rude. No place I'll ever visit again.
