So when I left town, some 20 years ago, this place was called Blalocks bbq. It was ok, but not as good as bodacious downtown. Well, bodacious is outlaws, and Jo Jacks is the best bbq in East Texas. Ok, it's an opinion, but from a guy who grew up in MP and has traveled not only Texas but the world, Jo Jacks has some of the best brisket anywhere. Thanks, y'all, for making a trip home even better. Central Texas should take a trip East and get educated. It's just awesome!
We just ate at JoJacks and it was delicious. The menu is unique using several different meats which were all delicious and tender. The Mac n cheese was the best ever. Notice all that they put on the. Mac n Cheese including your meat of choice. It was yummy. As soon as we walked in, the staff were all so nice and accommodating. Great pick.
