This last time I went, it was like I was being hawk eyed down at the salad bar,THAT I PAID FOR. I'm not sure what that's all about. We come here as it is a favorite of my Grandmothers and Grandfathers(who passed away a couple of years ago).
I understand if you go back to the salad bar to get a new plate. BUT to interrupt me when I am getting my first round( never have a second) to inquire about my cup options is quite odd. I have a 16 month old baby girl that eats from that salad bar, too. As they have peas, slaw, etc.

Fast food style seafood. Catfish taste like frozen/processed food. Shrimp were very small. Similar to Long John Silvers, with the exception of salad bar and bean bar. Price is decent, but I was expecting better quality. Salad bar was fantastic.
When I go home to visit, I enjoy eating fish at this place.

We tried Catfish King one more time. This time did not disappoint. The food was fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive to our every need. The cajun fish is better to me. Flavorful with not a lot of spice. Love the hushpuppies and the coleslaw!! The salad bar was all fresh and stocked.
Great traditional catfish dinner. May be a tad salty for some but was delicious.

Had a great 😃👍👍 lunch here today. Got the regular catch which came with fish hush puppies and fries 🍟. The salad bar was stocked great 😃 lots of different choices. Made a great salad with pickled beets on the side with coleslaw. Choices of beans regular which are perfect, or chili beans which are perfect so had a cup of both. Perfect meal, great 👍👍😃 service. The tea was made perfect. Place was packed with people 🤣 having a great meal. Didn't get any dessert, will save room for next visit. The staff made the meal enjoyable with their smiles 😊 and great conversations. Bathrooms were very clean and plenty of parking 🅿️. Disabled parking and wheel chair accessible. Great place to visit for a great fish meal. Highly recommend.
