This is a nice little bar and grill type steak house. We stopped in for appetizers and a salad. Also cold drinks. The staff were very friendly and the service was nice.

We frequent here, but sadly last night we received terrible service. Our server name was Jayda and she hardly checked on us. I had to get up to and go to the bar and ask the bartender for refills. We did not get our salad before the meal we received it with our meal and I think it's pretty standard service to have the salad before. The only time our waitress showed up was to drop off the food and the check. We needed extra napkins , and I joked with the rest of my guess "if the server shows up I'll get lucky if I get some". When the server dropped off the food she did ask if I wanted another drink and she completely missed the drinks I already had at the table and I said "no thanks I already got a refill" which proves that she was not paying attention to the table at all. She left without clearing the empty glasses by the way. Worst service The food was good tho.

The minute I walked in, it felt inviting. I have been living down the street for GR for 2 years, and today was the first time I went there. I ordered the mac & cheese with beef stake & i asked if I could substitute for grilled shrimp. Absolutely no problem. It was delicious, and the service was spot on. I would recommend GR in Mount Vernon

I ordered a new york strip ordered it rare. It was cook right but it was tough as leather. They never brought our salads service was bad very few people in place first and last time I will never go back and never recommend it I had high hopes for the place but got let down
Found a very awesome local steak joint great food great people great service The live music just like most places fairly loud but the food and the staff was phenomenal That is the kind of old school service that I miss for once they place that honors good food in good service definitely will be coming back Yes it is a little on the pricey side but if you go to a steakhouse like Texas Roadhouse or Logan's or longhorns You're going to pay around the same price at least this one is local I'd rather drive up the roadways versus going all the way to a bigger city paying the same price but to me getting better service and a better meal definitely would recommend

Food is amazing! 2nd time visiting, both times steak was on point, and crispy potatoes were awesome. Service was lacking, while friendly, they were slow, did not bring out items like plates or napkins and left empty plates after done while we sat and had drinks. But, food was amazing!

We have been here before and Saturday night was terrible. We sat and waited 30 minutes before anyone came and got our drinks and appetizer order An hour later our appetizers, salads and drinks came missing several. I had to go up to the server to remind her we were missing 4 drinks. When our food finally came out it was cold and again half of it was missing. A table came in an hour and 30 minutes after us and got their food in 30 minutes. To top it off the bar tenders were vaping at the bar the entire time. If it had been busy I would understand, but they were not even busy.
