They are not knowledgable enough to handle big crowds apparently, i personally waited over 20 min and im on lunch break, i have to try and scarf my food down so i wont be late. I seen them give away someones food because they didnt hear them call their number. Those kids were loud in there a school band was here and it was a little out of control and sooo loud This was Mt. Pleasant McDonalds by Walmart not Mt. Vernon.

Took me 35 min to get the big mac chicken then when I got it no cheese no pickles nothing went back to the drive thru real nice hand them the sandwich gave it back with 1 PC of cheese lol. Lot of kids in there playing not doing there work

Pulled curbside after camping, for a quick breakfast break and went inside for salsa and jelly. Asked I guess the manager for condiments politely at the counter, said the guy that'll bring it to curbside will bring it out to you even tho I'm at the counter.... idk if it's a racial problem or what. Guy comes out with food only to not have those condiments, expected for us to drive off after saying "I have to go back inside to get it." Why didn't the manager tell him to bring it or put it in the bag?? Horrible service.

The server I experienced was unorganized and uninformed. I had an online order and she started to take my food back when she said I didn't pay. You cannot order food without paying for it online. And as a result of her not knowing what she was doing she was rude to me about it.

I wish there was a 0 star option every time I come to the mt vernon mcdonalds it just gets worse. It takes for ever to get your food and when you do get it it's usually wrong or cold. Tonight they were out of medium cups so we had to spend more money on large drinks that we didn't want or need. If I had a restaurant and I ran out of medium cups I'd give my customers the large ones for no extra charge.

A couple days ago we went in for breakfast and I got the steak egg cheese bagel ordered no egg and when I got the sandwich it had egg and the steak was a piece of cardboard went back today just to sit in the drive thru for 10 minutes and was no other people in the drive thru no one ever tried to take my order was 3 employees outside looking at me crazy I drove off and the girl at the window 1 just was looking out the window with the window open

Sat in the drive through for 30 minutes, 2nd window had no idea what our order was, and when we got our drinks we noticed something floating in the sweet tea. Asked for a new one, and it had mold floating in the ice. Poured out my soda and also found a chunk of mold. Management needs to look into the slow careless service and moldy ice before someone gets sick.
It usually is one of the best McDonald's in the area, but today was not the case.
