The staff is super friendly. Service is pretty good, I def wouldn't recommend the seafood, specifically the blackened seafood. The atmosphere is like an eat-in convenience store. Really disappointed. The restaurant was much better before.

Love the atmosphere here!!! We were only in town for a month but went to the Cove as often as possible. The lake view was beautiful!! The pizza was the best in town. They played great music. Definitely will go back next time we’re in town.

Can’t say enough about how great and impactful their lodging accommodations, their restaurant, and their rental services are for this community!! They bring SO much life to this area of Texas. All their staff members are extremely professional and always give excellent service. We stayed at one of their cabins a while back and loved it so much between the stay and the food we thought since my parents are visiting us nearby we would come back to visit and rent a boat with them as they are the perfect place to bring your guests to entertain. Ryan has gone above and beyond to make this entire experience exceptional. Would definitely recommend as a place for couples for some relaxation or for the whole family to have the best time! Thank you so much to the Cove!

Laid back relaxing bar and grill. Very Family friendly, food was excellent not just bar food but home style fresh with fresh veggies. Game for the family. Service is resort style.

I surprised my family with a pontoon boat rental from The Cove, and we had an absolute blast! The ladies were so kind and welcoming, and the boat was clean and in good condition. We made such great memories out on the water, can’t wait to do it again! And yes add the tube!!!

The Cove in Mount Vernon is one of our favorite places to relax, eat, and enjoy the lake life. Being able to drive the boat right up to the dock and walk into the restaurant is such a cool experience. Whether we’re grabbing a pizza or going for the grilled shrimp, the food is always fresh and hits the spot.

The salads are also surprisingly great—crisp, flavorful, and made with care. It’s a laid-back atmosphere with friendly service and great views. Perfect place to unwind after a day on the water. Highly recommend if you’re out at the lake or anywhere nearby!
