This review will be based on two visits and pictures provided are from the first visit. The first time was a couple months ago and was pretty good. Food came out good and in a decent time. However my second visit today (5/29) here was pretty bad. We were seated right away but ignored for probably 5-10ish minutes with no one seeing us for drinks/food. It is important to note it was busy but there is no excuse to be ignored for that long. We ended up leaving due to the lack of service.
Take out. Fried catfish very tasty as were the fries although the seasoning isn't my favorite. The salad was the downer. It is a great size, but the greens were old they even smelled old when I opened the container. Don't know how they didn't know that while handling the greens. Maybe they make them ahead of time and this one has been around too long.
This establishment has a burger known as the double double smash Burger. The first time I tried it I thought it was the best burger I've ever had. I've tried to order it again and it's quality is very hit-and-miss. It ranges from pretty good to extremely poor. More often than not it's poor. Often the bacon is burnt and sometimes even missing. Often they forget to put on the bacon jam sauce in a sufficient quantity - the bacon jam makes the sandwich very good....
