their food and margaritas are excellent but the wait staff is impossible! Im always great and long time customer BUT I can't even get waited on anymore so idk.i must wait on myself! the only reason I come back are the margaritas!! and thats the truth ugh

I and my wife ate there today, the service was horrible, the young gentleman that sat us down was always behind his computer, we had to ask for crackers then lemons for the food. The Mexican Cocktail we ordered was lacking the porper ingredients like cilantro and avocados ( they used to serve it that way a while back) the fish was very nicely cooked along with the dirty rice. But the service is most likely why we won't be coming back.

The food is really good and we really enjoy almost everything they serve (BUT) the atmosphere is awful. The music is so LOUD you can’t even enjoy a meal or conversation with your company! Wish it was separate from the bar and the music! People have to yell at each other to have a conversation! They need a wall to separate them! Or move the restaurant section to the back area. The young man who served us is always very sweet and friendly! Please consider making a better option for your customers!!!!

The 1 star is because the restaurant part was closed Saturday 10 2024 . 610 pm . There was some rude young lady sitting at the bar that yelled we are closed . But I clearly saw people sitting having drinks. The bar tender was very polite and some of the other customers. I had 1 shot of tequila then I left .He apologized for the young lady . I said I ignor stupidity . To avoid confrontation. I'm not sure if she yelled it to be helpful or she was just a rude and had to many drinks.the bar tender was very polite.

So I ordered crawfish gumbo & crab cakes & neither one was good. The crab cakes I should've known they would be frozen & taste like frozen food & not freshly made but I thought I would give them a try since the reviews were so good but anyway this was my 1st time trying crawfish gumbo & I wish I had taken pics but ive never seen gumbo thin like water with 2 pieces of okra, had celery chunks & lots of crawfish but it didn't taste like seafood neither. I finally gave up on it because even the crackers were stale. I couldn't afford the almost $30 loss but I had to just take it. Reply: instead of giving attitude & tryna tell me what I should've done maybe you just apologize & do better because writing my honest experience is what reviews are for.

One of the best seafood places I’ve ever eaten at the service is amazing and the one guy I saw serving and waiting tables was nice and fast

Why would you ever go into business with awful people like those who own Austin Hall?

This has got to be the best restaurant in Nacogdoches! The stuffed red snapper was absolutely fantastic! Even the steamed vegetables were super flavorful! The hush puppies, the shrimp, oh man it was all great! And service was perfect. I highly recommend eating here if you want something that tastes good!

Parking: Plenty of parking, though you might miss the entrance to the parking lot since it's on the side, rather than pulling directly in from the main road.

Delicious food and great service. We chose to eat outside, because the music was so loud in the dining room.
