Wasn't able to taste the food . Waited in line for quite a while and no one came to say anything at all no front service at all apparently.
Finally! The wife and I have been trying restaurant after restaurant in Nacagdoches finding nothing. Casa Tomas tastes like a 5 star chef from New York decided to hide away and start cooking Mexican food in East Texas. The food has flavor, something I haven't seen in town yet. I've spent hundreds on food that didn't have half the flavor. Well done! We'll be back and bring friends. Oh, and you have to try theirv strawberry margaritas. Excellent.
The food here is the very best Mexican in town and we have lots of choices. Great service too.
I have eaten at Casa Tomas many times over the years and they have (had) the best queso in Nacogdoches. Last week when we ate there, the food was terrible ?. The restaurant wasn't very busy, maybe 30% of the tables were occupied. I don't think there were more than 2 servers for the whole restaurant. Our chips, salsa, and drinks ran out for long periods of time. Our food seemed to have taken a long time to arrive, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. My husband is NOT a picky eater, and he couldn't eat his food it was so bad. Same goes for my son and myself. The taco on my plate was the only edible part of my order. Our server was either completely overwhelmed, new, or just plain inattentive.I'm not one who frequently gives poor reviews, but unfortunately this one is well deserved. We won't be going back. ?
I visited at lunch time, and the quesadillas were pretty authentic. I wish I had the chance to have the margaritas, but will definitely revisit when I am in the area.
Shells are hard and too thick for tacos and the chili for enchiladas was not to yummy
It's fine. Could be so much better. The Spanish rice was dry and almost tasteless. C'mon y'all, put some more tomato on there and make it moist and delicious. This is not rocket science. More meat on the tacos too please. Tortilla soup was really good though.
Wonderful experience. When my order came out a bit disappointing, they went over and above to make it right. Great food and service. Amazing people.
Service was great, but the food wasn't not good...
First time here and the food is delicious, the prices are good, and the service was exceptional! Our server was Anneka, she was so helpful and polite (and not in the fake, "I'm only being nice cuz I have to" way). She was on top of everything, and very helpful, and patient answering allergy questions. I love that they have green sauce, with plenty of cilantro! Highly recommend!

We had the tuna and fruit plate. It was delicious and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful
Great food and great service!
Not equal to similar Tex-Mex restaurants in Nacogdoches.
Fantastic service, margaritas and food!!
Great service and authentic Texas Mex. Loved their rice of all things and their avocado salsa. The fajita tacos were very fresh and bottomless chips topped it all off. Pet friendly table on front patio by request.
