I leave this review with moderate reluctance as I have been a loyal customer here on many occasions. This season I ordered a cooler special to bring home (20lbs crawfish). Nearly half of them were bad and had to be discarded. I messaged the owner (Rick) and very kindly informed him of the incident and he informed me that the shipment the prior evening had come in and was less than satisfactory. I asked that he make it right as I have been a loyal and repeat customer (driving approximately 40 miles each visit when we do have a local place). Rick advised he’d make it right. I messaged about a month ago. The cooler specials had climbed another $40 in price ton$120. I suggested that if he’d just honor the original order at $80 in the future I would be happy and hopefully have a better experience. He replied that he was willing to do that, only “tonight.” That didn’t sit well with me. He was willing to make it right at his convenience when he had an over abundance of product as is when they often run last minute specials. I feel he should honor that deal any time I’m ready, and in actuality, replace the crawfish free of charge due to the unsatisfactory order I received, though I wasn’t even asking for that much… I guess moving forward we will do our business in Jacksonville at our local place and save the drive. I wasn’t their biggest customer, but I was a loyal one… disappointing…

Crawfish & shrimp was delicious!!! Staff was friendly! Definitely took care of us ! Someone was blocking the handicapped ramp which made it difficult for my handicapped dad to get in they ended up giving him a free buffet for the difficulty you don’t hear / see that much from restaurants anymore I 10000% recommend them!!!

Nacogdoches is blessed to have this family owned and run eatery. Great food from burgers to gumbo, crawfish to crab legs and tons of choices in between. The staff is super friendly. Always feels like home. Highly recommend!

We went here for lunch and it was very good. I got the Under the Sea Platter and my husband got the Mammy’s platter. We went on Thursday and our drink was free with a platter. We will definitely be going back again!
