This is some legit, high quality Mexican food that tastes like your Mexican grandma might make. From the outside it is a nondescript brick building on the loop but nicely renovated and very clean! Our new family favorite.

The place has 10 tables and can get crowded quickly. Don't expect super fast service, I think everything is hand made ( which is a good thing ).Parking: The parking lot it a hot mess and it can be difficult to find parking.

My husband and I had breakfast there. The food was very good at a reasonable price. The wait staff were good. A big plus to us, the cleanliness of the place. We have not been to such a clean place in Nacogdoches. The table, the walls, the floors, the baseboards all clean! Everything but tables are all too often left unclean at most restaurants, but not here! Amazing!
Good, traditional Mexican food, and the family really enjoyed it. You can tell they use real cheese, and the warm, homemade salsa was excellent! Nice flavor without being too spicy. They also sell items a la carte, which helps with picky eaters. We will definitely go back.

The hostes was extremely rude and unfriendly when we entered at 7:30 on a Saturday night. She informed us that we would have to get our food to go, even tho the sign in the window read open. We ordered several meals to go, and when we finally received our food, all portions were very small. When we inquired about why our order of queso did not come with chips, we were informed that chips cost "extra". When asked why they didn't specify that queso did not include chips beforehand, I was told, "I don't have time to deal with this" and asked to leave. The quality of the food was bland and mediocre at best. I would strongly recommend eating anywhere else unless you have a preference for rude staff, small portions, and bland food.
