Service wasn't as a attentive as I usually prefer. But they were all sweet and really polite. Food was really yummy and their portions are quite big! :) would definitely recommend and go again!Kid-friendliness: They were so sweet with my 8&5 year old and were very patient when allowing them to order on their own!
Unique and amazing. My new favorite restaurant to go to. Breakfast all day, it was delicious, and the server was super friendly. Place was clean and decorated in a very quirky and cute manner. Can't wait to come here again!

Homemade chicken fried steak was delicious and we paid less than any fast food.
It was my husband's and my 1st time there. The wait staff were really friendly and quick, which we enjoyed, but we were not impressed with some of the food. We both got breakfast, since it was served all day. My husband said that his omelet and grits were really good, but his biscuit was really small and not flaky. I had chicken strips and a pecan waffle. They graciously made my strips extra crispy for me, and the waffle tasted really good, although kinda thin. Would go back again when we're in Nacogdoches.

We were in the area visiting SFA; Kinfolks was delicious! We will definitely eat here every time we're in town. The menu reminded me of my childhood, so many dishes that grandma used to make. Service was terrific when, though it was packed. I can't wait to go back.

We've been eating at kinfolks since 2021, and it used to be good. I ordered steak fingers today, and they cooked a chicken fried steak and cut into 1" strips. Wasn't steak fingers, but a steak cut into strips, this is bad.

First and last time coming here. Was excited to try it out since moving to Nac because we’ve heard many positive things about this restaurant but it was horrible when we went. Food was mediocre.. sausage was still cold in the center for my son’s meal, I never got my coffee or sausage. Server was clearly busy at some points but the lack of service for our table while watching her give decent service to her other tables was disappointing. She took forever to take our order, never brought over my coffee, forgot things and never once came back after dropping off our food to see how it was (which wasn’t that great) so I couldn’t even give her the opportunity to fix the issues. I went to pay and to make sure they took off the sausage and coffee we never got and the lady at the counter was rude and didn’t even apologize or anything. I understand being busy but if you can’t handle to work in a busy restaurant like that then you shouldn’t work there… Still there’s no excuse for the lack of service we received. We won’t be back.

Went there for the first time today and will never return. I came in behind a couple and sat at the bar. They waited on the couple first like they should. Then other people came in before me and they looked over me and waited on them. For almost 10 minutes I kept getting looked over. Finally the lady working the floor came up to me and asked if I've been help I said no the problem with that is the lady behind the bar just looked at me and did nothing. Not saying it's was because of my skin color but I am saying she waited on the white people that came in behind me
