This place has potential. Took 20 minutes to take our drink order. Took our food order 15 minutes after that. Waited about 50 minutes for our food to get here. Waiter never check on us again. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Every time Iāve gone to flashback the service has always been great, this time it was far from great. Our waitress was very kind and sweet but would disappear for 10-15 mins and when she would come around to see how we were doing and get any refills, it would take and additional 10-15 mins to get our drinks. We asked another waitress who was serving the table next to us if she could give me a refill on my coke because we havenāt seen our waitress in a while, she gave us such a dirty look and never brought me back my drink. This happened last night during the UT and A&M game.

I usually love flash backs, unfortunately this time when I tipped they added a extra zero, I called to ask it took me calling 10 times for them to answer, when I explained what happened the manager started to explain and then stopped to say āare you even listening.ā Then said āit was an accident, sh-t happens.ā And I had to have my bank handle it, and when I said I told her I was just gonna come up to figure it out she said āwell Iām the manager honey, and this is whatās happening.ā They were not helpful or nice whatsoever, literally was just trying to celebrate with my friends. This has happened to friends before too so itās not just them having a bad night.

I said I Usually love flash backs but had a negative experience. I didn't demand cash I asked if we could keep the extra charge for cash instead to pay bills i would have tomorrow you said there was nothing you could do and it would be in my bank Monday, i asked if there was any other way, and you said no . I said IF my money ended up not being returned then I would have issues and in response that's when you said "sh-t happens". Once again you said there was nothing you could do and I said ok fine goodnight. I said I didn't need to she the transaction receipt because I understand it was an accident and I believed it would be refunded and honestly i just didn't want to waste any more of my time. It wasn't hostile or false. I literally have proof if you have issues with my review I am more then fine with showing. I know multiple people who had the exact same experience and have had issues with the management. People can see the service just buy your responses to people who have issues. I understand if it was busy or if it is a hard night but as someone who has worked in food service, the way you seem to treat anyone who was upset by their experience is terrible. It wouldn't of been a this big of a problem if the person handling the situation had shown any respect, which did not happen, and can be proven again by the response you have given over the phone or in any of these reviews.

Edit: the owner responds to every single bad review asking if they talked to a manager, I shouldnāt have to ask for a manager to get basic service. Be mad at your management and skills, not customers leaving honest reviews.

I am very appreciative of the food quality. The server is very kind, but she seems very rushed and overwhelmed. The management claims that they are always constantly understaffed and it shows. Food and service is great, but not sure the management takes very good care of their workers...

Some of the best and most original barbecue Iāve ever eaten! Itās definitely geared more to the college crowd but even an older couple like my husband and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere!
