I have tried to give this location so many opportunities over the years. I don’t know what’s going on, but the last year and a half it has dropped so much in service and food quality. Ingredients are missing from my order, they’ll forget the pickle, and the food is half assembled when I receive it. I have talked to the manager each time and they were nice during the exchange, but I’ve seen no improvement despite my critiques and suggestions for improvement. I, again, recommend a refresh training on what goes into the food items to help with quality control. I was disappointed that my Caesar wrap was all over the box and had to be reassembled… and further disappointed when I discovered they didn’t put the Caesar dressing on it either and I was missing paprika on my potato salad… and my pickle. However, the buffalo chicken spud was good.

Wow, McAlister’s Deli in Nacogdoches, TX, totally earns this five-star review! The managers are amazing, creating such a cozy, friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff? Absolute gems! They go out of their way to make every single person feel special, nailing every order with a big smile and so much heart. You can tell they genuinely care, and it makes every trip there so delightful. This crew is the real deal!

It would be good if there was anything on the sandwiches. I've tried the blta and the chicken salad sandwich and I felt robbed. There was only enough avocado on the blta to give the bread a slightly green tint. And the chicken salad sandwich has so little chicken salad that it was dry. For their prices and amount of ingredients it'd be better to just go to newks or dollies diner or cotton patch. Anywhere really. The only time it was good was when I got a French dip sandwich. Most of the time there isn't anyone up at the register 🙄 I live right by the restaurant but I'd go across town at this point to get something to eat because it's just a robbery and the staff seems very unhappy and bummed out most of the time. The atmosphere was good but at what cost?

Manager was very rude and he hung up on me after I made a complaint about not getting my order correct. The Lufkin store is the complete opposite. They act like thet appreciate their customers. I will give Lufkin store my business from now own.
