Nothing about this restaurant is redeemable. The food is abominably bad and tastes extremely low-quality. I ordered an enchilada plate with refried beans and rice, as well as chips and queso on the side. The refried beans were absolutely wretched and offensive. They did not taste like food. The rice was average at best, and enchiladas were just as bad as the beans. The meat was chewy, greasy, and flavorless. I never even received the chips despite paying for them. Instead, I received a cup of runny, poor-tasting queso with nothing to eat them with. I refuse to spend money on this place ever again. Avoid at all costs.

Do not order. This was $15 and I was actually hungry. Until I tasted the tacos. Could've had a flip flop with sauce and it would've been better. Poor quality. Meat was mushy and lacked all seasoning available.

We are passing through and looking for a Mexican food place. I gave this place a 5 but they deserve a 10⭐️ it was absolutely the best Street Taco I’ve ever had. The corn shells were homemade amazing. My husband had fajitas. Flour shells homemade also. ??❤️I told you we would return here on our next trip to Cruise. So 10mo later We came again it’s just as amazing and also brought about 10 more people with us! So glad we found this gem ?. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For context, I'm Latino and have eaten Mexican food all over Texas and in Mexico. Trust me when I say the food tastes like a 10 year old cooked it for their little siblings.Breakfast was awful. We found this place based on the Google review score :(. We came in on a Sunday morning and the place was empty. That should have been the first sign to leave.We ordered a chilaquiles plate, a machacado plate, and 2 coffees.The coffee was too watered down. The chilaquiles had almost no salsa roja on them, and the machacado was flavorless, greasy, and didn't have any veggies in it. The beans tasted bad too. The potatoes were the best part of the meal, but were also flavorless. It feels like this restaurant could do well to practice using more seasoning or even salt.I'm mostly just mad the reviews were so high for a place that is obviously not good. Maybe it's just their breakfast that is bad, but I won't be coming back to find out.

Service was excellent. Birria tacos & Red enchiladas were also very good. The Caldo Res broth was okay but only two small pieces of potato, a couple slices of squash and two small pancake size pieces of probably Round Steak.We did not receive an itemized bill which our total was $43.16. That’s a lot for three lunches.
