Ordered two coffees and a breakfast plate today. None of it ever showed up. We had already paid at the counter. Zero stars for service. Was told repeatedly that they would be right with us. We gave up after 45 minutes with no refund. We won’t be returning.

As soon as my family walks into this establishment we order and they say the wait on food will be 30min and it has been an hour and 30 minutes. Approaching on the 2 hour mark all the tables were completely filthy (I had to ask the lady at the front for a rag to clean my own table) as well as full of dishes. The service was absolutely terrible and I would not recommend coming here

We went in for breakfast. Walked up to the register and the young lady was completely overwhelmed. Ordered 2 breakfast items and a coffee and water. Took 20 minutes for a plain cup of coffee. The people next to us had been waiting almost an hour for food when they got it was cold. We opted to leave before our food came out cold. We were there 30 minutes. Would be a cool place if it was properly staffed. Sad to say I have no idea about the food.

I waited 54 minutes from ordering until I received my food. It was not busy at all, maybe 5 people eating and 3 waiting on food. 50 minutes into waiting they came and asked how i wanted my eggs cooked, which they were told at ordering. As I was leaving I heard a worker very rudely explaining to a customer that everything was fresh and made to order that of course it was going to take a long time to get your food. I’ve eaten here before it only took 10-15 for my food to come out. Idk what was going on today but it was ridiculous.

We stopped for lunch at Stone House Kitchen yesterday. The food was very good, the restaurant was comfortable and the restrooms were clean. Also, there appears to be games available at the front of the restaurant for customer use. I would definitely eat here again.

Former resident of Nacogdoches in town on business affer 2+ years away. Saw this "new" place was open and decided to give it a try. The dining room was clean and bright, and I was welcomed warmly by Kelli (the hostess, cook, and cleaner apparently) as soon as I walked in. After perusing the menu and trying to decide between the Big Breafast Panini or giant pancake, Kelli recommended the bacon and ham quiche that was just coming out from the oven. Wonderful selection! The quiche was buttery and perfectly seasoned with generous portions of ham and bacon. My accompanying Americano was the right choice for pairing. I'm glad I stopped in and hope to see the place open the next time I'm in town.
I have nothing but great things to say about Stone House! The staff and owners are all such sweet and kind people--it is always a great day to visit. The food options have a wide variety for even the pickiest of eaters like myself--but also have a way of getting you to try new things. The Southwest panini is to die for, and I highly recommend their potato salad. Overall, the ambience of the place stands out in a positive way as it is centered in the downtown area. Definitely something to write home about!
