The food was fine, but the service was absolutely disgraceful.
My friend and I came here to eat. I speak Spanish fluently, while my friend understands it more than he speaks it. We were greeted in Spanish, so we responded in Spanish. During the order, I had to translate a few things for him, which should not be a problem at any decent establishment.
What was a problem was the behavior of the staff. As soon as our server walked away to the kitchen, we could clearly hear the staff laughing and mocking my friend’s Spanish. Loud enough for us to hear, and trust me, we did.
It was disgusting. I’ve never experienced something so disrespectful, especially coming from members of our own community. There’s absolutely no excuse for mocking a paying customer trying to communicate respectfully in your language.
If your staff thinks it’s acceptable to laugh at and bully someone for not speaking Spanish perfectly, they have no business working in hospitality or with the public at all. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Ungodly hot in this restraint we sat down and immediately left. The owner needs to either fix the AC or run it down and stop being cheap. 2 couples left for the same reason when we did. You don’t want a hot meal
In a sweat box. I recommend go somewhere else. Another Nacogdoches restraint that will be out of business by Christmas.
Prices were good, service a little slow when we came for a very late lunch. Food was good for the most part, nothing super special, chicken was pretty dry. When you sit down, you get chips, a bowl of guacamole, a bowl of limes, and a bowl with chopped peppers and onions, which was good, but no regular salsa, which is weird.
Decent reasonable food

Service was great, but food was only ok at best. We were on a road trip and this restaurant is on the main road through town. Salsa tray was nice, but the chicken and beef dishes had a off flavor. Maybe old meat?

Authentic tex'mex. The quesadillas are more like tacos and oh so delicious. The best rice and beans.

Their food is always wonderful! The only problem I have with this establishment is that they're not open on Sunday when we are most likely to go out to eat.
Vegetarian options: They have items that could be considered vegetarian such as salad with no meat.
