We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. They had the Cowboys game on. Hidden gem! They need to charge more for their bbq. Portions are large.

Yelp and google maps show the location to be in the middle of the freeway across from the Love's truck stop but it is actually about a mile north of the Love's on the west side service road (see map).

I had a brisket sandwich with potato salad and they are both exceptional. The brisket was very moist and exploded with smoke flavor,. I believe that’s what this place apart although it’s a small Mom and Pop place, it explodes with flavor. There are several picnic tables outside under some beautiful oak trees for a nice barbecue picnic. Although the dining room was very comfortable.

Don't let the exterior fool ya! Find a parking spot, walk in, and you will smell the delicious aroma of smoked meats. The dining area was very clean and open. The men's restroom was superbly clean. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Our first visit, and hopefully not our last! Great food and great service!

Truck driver passing by wanting some good ole TX BBQ and stumble across this place and it is worth it!! Purchased: Ribs which they are fall of the bone and big. Brisket, nice and moist full of flavor. Chicken, great taste and not dry & TX Twinkies. All the meats had a good smoky taste and bark none of them dry. 👌🏼 5 out 5 to me!
