Met a friend I haven't seen in a while in Navasota with some of my family and we decided to check the giant teapot out. There were a couple of cute spots to take pictures on the property. We didn't eat at the Cafe but we walked the grounds and looked at the unique pottery, flowers and out door patio signs,etc. The shop had a lot of cute knickknacks. I enjoyed my visit there. If you have the time to stop by I recommend to check it out.
I have driven past here for years (should have kept doing this after today) and have always noticed the very large tea kettle outside. Decided to stop today and see what Marthas was all about. Upon pulling in we saw zero cars in the parking lot except for the two around the side towards the back. We walked in and there was no one inside the shop but you could hear 2-3 female voices behind closed door. My future daughter in law and I were there yesterday for a celebratory lunch. The chocolate chip scone bites and tea as a starter were delicious. We had a fabulous delicious lunch. She had a HUGE wrap, and I had a HUGE Club! The homemade potato salad was yum! For dessert, we had blueberry scones topped with jam and Devonshire cream. Oh my! Delish!
