I hosted my daughter’s birthday party at cafe bloomers and it was above and beyond our expectations!! I called 3 weeks before the party date to make a reservation for our large group (10 adults, 8 kids). I thought we would be sat at several tables out in the main dining area, but they gave us our own private room! Ahead of time I had ordered and paid for a hot tea experience for each guest, and a pastry platter from their catering menu (which was very easy to coordinate via email!) In person, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The girls had a fabulous time sipping tea and eating tasty treats in their fancy dresses. I had also brought flower crowns for them to decorate, and the birthday girl had a few gifts to open. After that we let the girls run around out in the gardens area and they had the greatest time exploring! We moms and grandmothers had such a wonderful time too. All the while we were able to leave our things inside the room and come clean up just our stuff at the end (we were there from 2-4pm on a Saturday). All in all it was a lovely experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend hosting any kind of party at cafe bloomers!

We recently booked the high tea experience at Martha’s Bloomers Cafe for $100, and overall it was a fun and unique experience to try.
The highlights for us were definitely the sandwiches and fruit. The cucumber sandwich was my mom’s favorite—she loved it so much she wishes it were a regular menu staple. I’m already a big fan of the chicken salad on a croissant (my usual lunch order), and it did not disappoint here either. The fruit was also fresh, cold, and perfectly done.
Where the experience fell short was the dessert portion. Unfortunately, the scones were extremely hard and inedible. We asked for the regular scones served at lunch, and those were much better. The rest of the desserts were also underwhelming—more reminiscent of boxed or grocery store sweets than what we expected from a high tea service. There were very few pastries and no petit fours, which added to the disappointment. We ended up ordering the Italian lemon cake of the month separately, and that was far better than any of the included desserts.
Because the dessert portion is such a big part of a high tea experience, it left us feeling like this isn’t something we would book again. We actually found that ordering our favorite sandwiches, tea, extra scones, and a dessert off the regular menu would have been more enjoyable.
That said, the presentation was beautiful, and we do appreciate the effort that goes into creating the experience. It just didn’t feel like something that justified booking so far in advance or the higher price point.
Overall, we’ll happily be back to enjoy our favorites from the regular lunch menu—and we truly hope to see those cucumber sandwiches added!
Also, a special shoutout to Daniel who always takes exceptional care of us when we come in for lunch.

This little gem off 290 is worth the trip from Tomball or The Woodlands! The food was delicious and the store has many unique gifts.

Wonderful Mother's Day Buffet
Everyone was so nice and helpful and friendly.
The food was delicious!
My 85 year old Mother loved it and bought some plants.
Great scones, quiche and strawberry spinach salad.
Would not recommend for high tea. The atmosphere is nice, tea is decent, and the food we had was just okay. However the service was terrible. It was not mentioned to us when making this reservation that this is a self service high tea experience. Even so, we had practically zero interaction from a server, aside from him bringing sugar for our tea and some kind of topping for the scone after we waited and flagged him over. I even had to go get our own silverware because there was no one to ask. None of the tea was explained to us, we had to steep it ourselves, we weren’t told what any of the other deserts were, scones were served cold. High Tea is supposed to be an experience with service, so I don’t think this can be advertised as such. Also it needs to be communicated in advance that a 20% gratuity is automatically included for this service. Normally I would not care as I’m happy to pay for good service. Management did remove this gratuity after bringing the issue up and were somewhat understanding. My concern is more around the principle of the service not the cost. Overall I am extremely disappointed.
Quite the experience something for everyone!
