I had an opportunity to try the brisket, and it was awful. It was sliced about 1 inch thick, which is way too thick for brisket, and was completely overcooked. It was like eating thick beef jerky with a slight ring of delicious fat around it. The flavor was great. The execution and the cooking of it was terrible. Why would you slice it so thick? Why would it be so overcooked? It hurt my teeth to chew.
When I lived in Colorado I used to go to dickies's because it was the only place to get decent ribs. Now that I'm back in Texas, I don't know what the problem is, but it's bad.

My sister and I love their baked potatoes. They hit the potato with the side of the knife to break it up some and break up the inside so the ingredients settle in all the little crevices. We have had their bbq in the past and it was tender and juicy, but not too juicy. If you have never had their food, I highly recommend trying it!!

This place is always quiet and the chicken sandwich is the best! The fries are not cooked until you order them and they are really good. The staff is always very nice and they greet you as soon as they see you walk in the door. I've eaten here several times and I haven't had any issues or concerns. I highly recommend.

I ordered a BBQ beef chopped sandwich on a poboy bun, it usually comes in a regular bun. It was loaded with beef with a side of potatoes salad and a large to go cup for only $11.99 ? tell you what, it was 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars better than a local BBQ place that begins with a T... That's all I'm saying!!
