Im very happy with my visit, its very clean and bright, the wait staff was very attentative, and quick, they were very prompt and helpful. The food was also very delicious, and fresh, I had no doubt it wasn't. Great for lunch, I look forward to returning for a dinner. The price was also spot on, no issue there. Stopped here before heading back home to Louisiana, and I’m so glad we did! The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
The pho was flavorful and sooo yummy! I always compare pho to my mom’s, and this broth was legit because it tasted amazing even before adding any condiments. Plus, they were generous with the meat (unlike a lot of other spots).
I also devoured my bánh xèo which was crispy and delicious. The egg rolls were solid, and the grilled pork vermicelli bowl was decent. Overall, we had a great time and I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu!

We’ve found our new go-to spot for Vietnamese food—Pho-09 is the real deal!
We started with the fresh shrimp spring rolls, and let me just say—these are the best spring rolls in Southeast Texas. Plump shrimp on both sides, tightly rolled, and paired with a sweet and tangy pineapple sauce that takes it to another level. Absolute perfection.
My wife ordered the Banh Mi Thit Nuong (Chargrilled Pork Sandwich with Vietnamese butter), and it was everything a banh mi should be. The bread was freshly baked, light and crispy on the outside, with layers of cilantro, pickled carrots, cucumbers, and daikon radish tucked around perfectly seasoned pork. It’s a must-try if you’re visiting.
I had the Bun Bo Luc Lac—vermicelli noodles topped with shaken beef and grilled vegetables. The beef was seared to perfection in a wok, tender and full of rich flavor, and the combination of textures and fresh herbs made it feel like a bowl of pure heaven.
From flavor to presentation, Pho-09 delivers authentic, comforting Vietnamese food with heart. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won’t leave hungry—or disappointed.
