Where does one go to escape the bright lights of Beasley? -right down the road to NeedVEGAS and PUB36! I had a pal pass though Texas yesterday and I met him at the nearby truck stop. Already familiar with your location in Stafford, I could not wait to give this guy a little taste of Texas and you guys did not disappoint. We had frosty beverages, and snacked on a few things (that menu is really impressive) and really did enjoy our fellow customers and Sammii Jo behind the bar as well. Will recommend. Will be back -especially during crawfish season. Gotta try out that deck!

Sat at the bar, Sammii Jo is an awesome bartender. Food was great, cold beverages, good atmosphere.
Great place, friendly staff, music wasn't too loud nor too soft, it was perfect, my wife and I enjoyed it enough to go back soon.

Have been to this place my fair share of times over the past 3 years, and since I started going it has been nothing but downhill. Prices have gone up, portions have gone down, food is often times bad to mediocre, and wait times are horrendous.
I kept returning because I really enjoyed their nachos as a quick lunch, but seeing as the past 3 times I've gone it has taken me over 40 minutes to get a single plate of nachos and half the tables were empty.
Chips have been overcooked last 2 times I've been, meat was burnt, and had no flavor. And it used to be a sizable portion that could fill me up, now it's roughly 20-30 small chips on a small plate that I can eat in less than 3 minutes. (And I usually have to because by the time I get my food from my hour long lunch break, I only have 10 minutes left.)
I'm most likely never going to return, it seems they have, over the years, slowly shifted to more and more of a bar aesthetic focusing on alcohol sales than anything. If you want nachos, go to Los Charros on main street, if you want burgers, sonic and texas burger will do, for everything else, there is the Jay Cafe 5 minutes down the road.

Can’t tell you how many chances we have given The Pub 36 in Needville, TX, but I think today did it for me. Went for lunch because my husband wanted crawfish which their sign says they have, however it’s only available after 5pm. My son order chili cheese tots and they tell him they’re out of chili, this was at noon, how can you be out? I order Acapulco Chicken, the avocado slices they put on top were brown/black and the rice pilaf tasted funny. There was one waitress for 7 full tables and one bartender with 4 people sitting at the bar. When we were looking for our waitress, she was busy waiting tables and did a really good job and the bartender was sitting at a table playing on her phone for at least 15 minutes. She never once helped the waitress. If your lucky, you’ll eat there when the owner is there and service will be good but if he’s not there you take a chance.

Best way to describe this place is HORRIFYING. The bathrooms smelled of raw sewage and overall cleanliness of the entire establishment was filthy. Ordered a hurricane from the bar and it tasted like dirty water or really it tasted like their bathroom smelled. Needless to say i didn’t feel like ending up with food poisoning so I decided I would be better off not ordering any of their food. My husband did get their crawfish which from the look on his and our friend’s faces, the crawfish was probably cooked in the sewage from the bathroom. WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS PLACE. And would recommend anyone thinking of trying Pub 36 to keep on driving ??
