Stopped by when driving back from Rosenberg to our home in Houston. Stopped as read the good reviews for the pies. It was later in afternoon around 2 pm when we stopped, so lunch crowd was gone and was seated quickly but our server did not come by until about 10 of us waiting as the table. Took the order for the dessert, but we also got an order of fired pickles. the wait time of the pickles was about 15 minutes, they were good, and lots of them. But we had to wait a long time before someone came back by to check on us and we had to remind them about the two desserts we had ordered. Again we waited about 15 minutes for them to bring the peach cobbler and pecan pie. The wait time must have been them warming ;the peach cobbler. The desserts were good, but I have had better. they charged 3.00 for a very small side of ice cream on the pecan pie. Everyone was pleasant and the dining room clean, but the wait time was too long for what we ordered.

We have been going to this restaurant for about 10 years. The quality of food and cleanliness has changed over the past couple years. The place was dirty on the inside, grass a foot high on the outside, my wife’s pork chops tasted like rubber and my grilled chicken sandwich that I used to think was great was totally tasteless. I have heard that the ownership had changed over the last year or so and it has never been the same since then. They are strictly living off reputation.

This place is truly a Rosenberg hidden gem! Me and my husband were looking for a late night bite to eat & wanted true Mexican tacos. This was it! The Al pastor was devine ?? so tender and flavorful y’all. We order tacos only & I can’t wait to try more. The beans were also amazing.Customer service was 10/10 just like the food! We will be back ! ( only got an after photo)

Trash! Menu changes without warning. Last month I got a burrito that came smothered in sauce and cheese. Sides of rice and beans. Like pictured above on the site. This time I get home, 20 minutes away to find a dry burrito in foil with a tiny cup of beans. My wife's pollo con tejadas were correct and a full plate. They gave me garbage and charged us $25. Never again Hondumex. You've lost us for this wasted trip.
Foods amazing! Very nice people! Yall gotta come here!

This is very good country cooking. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. It was all very good! My family had chopped steak and the special of the day salmon. Everyone else said it was good! We ended our meal with coconut cream pie and peach cobbler BOTH big enough share. Would love to return when/if I get the chance.
