Food is always amazing and service wonderful. I've worked in India for short stints and have always missed really Indian food until I found 7 Monks.

Pretty delicious Mediterranean wraps and pesto hummus! I'm so glad I finally tried this place- I can't wait to try the Indian dishes. My only reason not to give an extra star is the hummus starter is huge but you only get 1 piece of naan bread cut in four pieces. You need at least 2 pieces for dipping. Now I'm left with a lot of hummus and no naan.

If you are by landa park this is so close and perfect! We were in town & this was so good. The falafel hippie wrap was the perfect since we were heading back home. I’ve had many samosas and this one was just perfection. I love the pictures of Krishna’s pastime. Haribol!

OK. If you are Indian or from the Mediterranean, you would know that this restaurant is neither. Most people I saw there had absolutely no clue what Indian food is.Biriyani is nowhere close to the pulp they serve there. Korma is absolutely disgusting. We went there specifically after driving 1 hour to be disappointed beyond repair.Dine in was served in tin foils in a tray. Flimsy paper plates were provided when asked how to eat this without plates.Food is all readymade, frozen and just warmed here. Rice is prepared in the electric cooker. Absolutely not the way to cook Indian rice dishes.I can safely say you all eating there have no clue what you are eating in the name of Indian food just because of the name of the establishment. If you want to taste what real biriyani is, go to Kohinoor.

Food is fantastic! As a vegetarian, 7 Monks has so many selections and it tastes amazing! Brought my mom here, she’s visiting from NM, and she loved it.

Food is always good, that's not the problem. Paying $6.00 for a single piece of naan is just criminal. Total for a family of three was $86. Just an FYI they are expensive and not really worth the price anymore.

It was confusing to see the menu and try to figure ut what things were. Everything about the place was confusing. Indian food is not a staple for most Americans and I had to keep asking questions. I did not know the rice came with each dish for instance. We ordered, and I felt like $44 was an extremely high price for 2 meals for lunch. I could have gone to Huisache and had fabulous full service lunch and known exactly what I was given, in a charming atmosphere where the staff knows the dishes and how to serve. This was just damned confusing. The service was on plastic with plastic spoons and forks. We put the rice on our plates and spooned the 2 dishes over the rice. Neither dish as the least appetizing. We ate what we could and packed it up. I reheated it yesterday and it was even worse. Within 30 minutes of eating, my stomach was in an Upraor and I was miserable all afternoon until I finally rid myself of the dish. The spinach dish seemed like it was made in the blender and over processed. The cream had clabbered, too high heat? Same for the tomato based thing. Since Tomatoes are a new world fruit it seemed odd that it had been incorporated into an Indian Dish. Forget about the Greekish fries. Frozen fries with feta cheese does not begin to compare to Mozie's garlic fries. I think this restaurant might be the longest lived business at this address, but it is not worth hunting it up- not at any price. Best forget this one.

I love good Indian food and this definitely wasn’t it. Everything is prepackaged and served with paper plates and plastic ware. The food was mediocre at best and garlic naan was soggy and not in the least garlicky.Stay away from this place!

A hard place to find if you're not looking for it, but it is delicious! I hadn't had curry before coming here on a recommendation, and since then I've brought friends and family here. Great food, and the medium spiciness was a great kick. Definitely highly recommend!

Still one of my favorite places in town. I can’t speak to the Indian food specifically as I usually get the Mediterranean dishes, but I’ve never had a bad order. Fresh and tasty food. Also the portions are big, we asked for extra falafel and she gave us a ton. Owner is super sweet!

We’d never heard of this place at the end of Seguin Road and when we pulled up, it looked a little divey, but it was very charming inside (even has a book shelf). It has a large selection, not just gyros and falafel. The food comes in take out containers which is good because there is so much. More importantly, the food is amazing. The young man behind the counter was helpful and honest Can’t wait to go back.
