The food was old, cold, and greasy. The place was mostly clean. William? He was awesome! Nicest guy you'll ever wanna meet at a restaurant. You can tell he's not just nice for the business, he's happy to help others. He made my evening.

This place was just plain trashy. The cashier was messing with this little girl's hair then handling food. They were blasting music from the back. The food tasted terrible and felt like it was sitting for a while, gave me a really upset stomach when I got home. The place was not kept up at all and looked gross. I was looking for a nostalgic experience and instead got a stomach bug.

This place needs to close its doors for good...8 out of 10 times nobody ever greets me thru speaker i have to sit 10 to 15 minutes then pull forward for service. Your choice of workers is a joke. Dont waste your time these people will.

I love A &W burgers and was excited to see one in New Braunfels. The drive through attendant was friendly and professional so I think the blame goes to the cook.
I ordered the burger meal waiting 8 min for a “fresh” burger. The fries were hot, the root beer was cold but the burger was cold, old and pink in the middle. The veggies on the burger was fresh tasting. I ended sick to my stomach by morning. I was and am thoroughly displeased and will not return.

The ONLY reason I stopped here was because the line of the 'place' next door to it was stacked. Ordered a 'cheeseburger', fries and I wanted a Rootbeer float. NO rootbeer. So I ordered a shake - only vanilla and strawberry available. The 'cheeseburger' was top bun, cardboard, cheese?, bottom bun. Fries were hot and crispy and were tasty. Shake. Yes, tasted like strawberry until the top popped off and spilled. $12.00 for this sad experience. The reviews 'say' they will address these issues but apparently not. I WILL WAIT IN LINE next door next time.

The fact that I sat for 20 min and no one answered the drive thru window, then to drive up to the window and see there’s people clearly there with headsets and being ignored in the window. If you’re not gonna serve through your drive thru window at least have the decency to put a Godam sign up. Worst service ever.

I went through the drive-thru today, first they could serve a hot dog because they had no hot dog buns. So they suggested a cheese burger, what i received was the same burger that was on the kids meal. The cheese was beyond disgusting, burger was probably in top 3 worst burgers and Pepsi was flat. 2 stars 1 for the fries and 1 for the root beer.

Don’t even bother. Not sure how this place remains open. Went for lunch and they had no burger patties at all and no root beer. It’s a burger and root beer joint… I was in a rush so I opted for the chicken sliders option with a Dr Pepper and all I asked for was ketchup. On the menu it says two chicken sliders. When I got my order I only had one slider that was undercooked, cold fries, no ketchup, and a soda that was only half full of Dr Pepper. Do your self a favor and do not eat here.

This was the WORST experience ever!!! Please DON'T EAT HERE! The rootbeer fermented because of lack of cleaning, the tartar sauce was sour and my husband's hamburger bun was so hard you could have build a house with it! Please fix this restaurant or shut it down before someone gets food poisoning!

The guy that took our order was great! Chicken was way over cooked and not edible, it was like chewing on a rock. There were ants crawling all over the walls and tables. Floors need a scrubbing and mopping badly, they were sticky and nasty looking.
