Bahama Buck's - New Braunfels

8/17 at 4:30pm, don’t know who they have on drive thru but it should definitely be someone who can hear. Poor girl had us repeat our order 4x and still got it wrong. We just took what we got because there were several cars behind us and we also waited just over 25 minutes from order to get to the window. We understand it’s busy but having someone to accurately take the orders will help move things along faster.

Delicious, wonderful options, games available to keep family busy while indoor dining. Highly recommend!

10.00 dollars for a 3/4 cup full snowcone is becoming the norm at this location. Time to return to universal city.

The flavors have tasted the past two times I have come in very off. I was very fond of Bahama Bucks because of how good the syrup is. Now, I debate if I will ever go back because I have tried to go twice now to see if anything has changed. It hasn’t, $30 down the drain from my girlfriend and I trying to give this another chance. Please fix these syrups! They are horrifically diluted and almost taste dirty.

As someone who worked at a Bahama Bucks for nearly 5 years, I understand how frustrating late-night customers can be close to closing time—but this visit was genuinely disappointing.

We arrived just before closing and were told they were only accepting cards, which wasn’t a problem. However, the quality of the sno cones was far below what I know Bahama Bucks can deliver. The ice was already melted and slushy, not the fine, fluffy sno that’s supposed to be their signature. On top of that, the flavors tasted seriously off—weak, diluted, and almost like they were made with plain sink water instead of the usual sugary syrup mixture.

I get that end-of-night fatigue is real, especially for high school or college staff, but even then, there’s a basic level of quality that just wasn’t met here. Really disappointed, especially knowing how good Bahama Bucks can be.

Very annoyed that this location does not sell any Coke or Sprite Zero products... Seems silly to have a soda bar without sugar-free options.

The snow cones were fabulous! They even offer games that the kids can play. It gave us a nice break from the river.

I am extremely disappointed. I got three signature snos all with vanilla ice cream so the vanilla Bahama Rama mama. We asked the gentleman before he gave us the receipt if all three had ice cream he looked and said yes. Then he gave us the receipt I looked at it and only 2 said vanilla Bahama Rama mama so I said the tropical blue coconut doesn’t. He said yes it does, so I said okay. We drove away i got to the bottom where the ice cream usually is and no ice cream. I was so disappointed and especially since this is the 2nd time this has happened to us the first time we actually paid for it and no ice cream was there. Definitely deters me from coming back when I verify and it’s still wrong. The gentleman also interrupted a lot in the drive thru making it hard to tell him what we wanted.

Whatever you do, don’t use the drive thru. It took 20 minutes and there was only one car in front of me. My smoothie was completely melted and my husbands snow cone was a slush. I tried to ask what was going on and the employee responded with a blank stare.
