Guys, I tasted (gobbled) the cookies and cream, the vanilla and the whiskey pecan and the lemon cake during my niece's wedding. Let me tell you'll it was so good! Best cake I've ever had!!! 6 stars 🌟🤩

My daughter is my world. When her now husband asked her dad for permission to marry her, I was over the moon! What a wonderful man she had found! She wanted a classy yet affordable wedding. She was excited when she told me she found a great cake. I was so happy for her.

Fast forward to the wedding rehearsal, at noon the day of the wedding and we arrive to find the wedding cake has already been delivered, 7 hours before the cutting of the cake. The temperature high that day was 77 degrees. There were no arrangements made to store a cake for 7 hours.

If that is not bad enough, the 10” gluten free cake that she order for an extra $100, was not there. When the baker of the cake was called, my daughter was basically told, “I forgot. I”ll refund you.” Mind you, this was 6 hours before the cake cutting. Something could have been done, even if it was, “ Hey, I’m so sorry. Can I run to HEB and see if I can get one there for you?” Sorry, no cake for the bride or mother of the groom. Once cut, the cake was beyond dry and had little flavor.

Luckily, my daughter is a wonderful woman, who was disappointed, but determined that the cake was not going ruin the vibe of the wedding. She is my hero and I am beyond proud of how she has handled this. The pictures I took show the substandard work a little clearer.

We used Cakes Couture for my daughter's wedding this past February 8 in Canyon Lake, and the entire experience was wonderful! We met with Rhonda for a taste-testing and she brought several yummy samples for us to try. We opted for a two-tiered cake and a groom's cake along with an assortment of cupcakes to accommodate about 275 guests. They were all a hit and not one piece of cake nor one cupcake was left at the end of the night. My only regret is that we didn't order more cupcakes. We had even ordered extras last minute but with them being so tasty, they flew off the table. The different flavors we had for the cupcakes were Italian cream w/caramel, blueberry lemon, mimosa, pecan caramel whiskey, and cookies and cream. The wedding cake layers were mango and Bavarian cream with buttercream icing. The groom's cake was redberry/raspberry swirl with chocolate icing. All were absolutely delicious! An added bonus to using Cakes Couture is the anniversary cake they provide at the one-year mark at no additional charge. We will definitely be using them again!!

My 3 tier wedding cake had 1 tier that did not come out as I requested. I asked for it to be tufted/tucked style on that tier and it came out with linear texture buttercream look. I can do linear texture buttercream myself so I would never have asked for that on my wedding cake. That was very disappointing. I also asked for the florals to be arranged diagonally and they were arranged in 2 very small bunches. I actually did not get to truly taste it at my wedding other than a small bite so I cannot speak to that personally, but someone told me it did not taste great.

Not sure what happened with the taste because all 3 flavors tasted great at our cake tasting!

Overall unfortunately I was not happy with my wedding cake. It did not meet my expectations.

Our cake was beautiful. It matched out vibe of the whole wedding Working with Couture Wedding Cakes was a great experience. She made us great samples.

THERE WAS NO CAKE LEFT AT OUR WEDDING! That's how good it was. I'll cut to the point. The cakes tasted consistently amazing and moist the day of tasting and day of wedding. We got to pick 5 different flavors at no extra cost (each tier was a different flavor). They were the ONLY cake company who were reasonably priced (believe me I don't play when it comes to cake I called several places before I found these lovely people) and they give you a free 1 year anniversary cake so you don't have to keep the top layer in your freezer for a year lol. Go book them! <3

Amazing! Used them for our wedding cake and cupcakes and no words other than perfection! I wanted simple but they sure did it all!

Cake tasted good but I had asked for extra support for my topper and I don’t think they added it because my cake was lopsided. Was told because it was straight when they got there, there was nothing they would do. Things happen I get it, and looking forward to our new cake for our anniversary but we didn’t get great photos.

OMG! As a professional baker I never am shy to try a dessert but sometimes come up disappointed. I knew I did NOT want to make my own birthday cake yet again. I put out feelers on FB and several people pointed me here. I am SO GLAD that I listened. Customer service was spot on, price was on point and the design and flavor was EXACTLY what I hoped for. I highly recommend this bakery!!!
