The food from here is always delicious and fresh. The reason it gets 3 stars is because the drive-thru has never gotten our order right, not even once. If we go inside everything is correct, but usually we’re in a hurry and trying to get in and out. I want to rate higher but can’t because our order is always wrong.

First off I wanna start off This review with Gloria is a superstar employee. We were heading back from seguin with 3 hungry kids and needing dinner they begged me to stop at chicken express. 2 children love the chicken and one only eats fries. We got our order and headed home to New Braunfels . When we got home I noticed the fries were missing with a screaming toddler asking for fries and knowing driving back was out of the question I figured I would call and let them know so next time we go they can replace them. But Gloria answered and said I know what’s it’s like I will personally drive them to you. Since this has never happened i thought she was joking. She asked for my address and 15 minutes later she knocked on the door with the fries and 3 cookies for the kids. I was so grateful and my toddler got his fries and a cookie. Everyone happy !!! By far the best service I have ever received when it comes to calling about food being left out of the order . Major applause to you Gloria and just know you are truly a great employee and chicken express should cherish you !!! Thank you again everyone is happy and the cookies are great !!!

Every time me and my wife stop here for food they forget something and we end up having to get back in line, go inside, or drive back because we did not notice something missing till we got home. And don’t return to get what they forgot to give you without your receipt because they won’t do anything for you.

We love the Chicken express on Hwy 46. Norma is always excellent along with her staff. Absolutely the best. Very clean, quick, hot food, cold drinks. Unbelievably the TOP one and we've at several that are either too salty or dirty.

Chicken Express has wonderful sweet tea the best in Texas. I had the chicken tenders it was delicious with Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Mustard. The Customer Service was fabulous, very friendly.
