Devin was a great bartender and the food was hot fast and delicious- Cold modelo topped it off & don't forget to ask for the creamy jalapeño sauce with your chips

First of all, this is coming from someone who is very familiar with Chuy’s! Been to TONS of locations, and even worked there for a short time. Food is excellent! Honestly, even better than other Chuys in the area. Nice staff as well! But, let’s get to some head-scratchers that I would like to list for management/corporate. Number 1, most glaring and obvious, why is this location so much smaller than average? NB is a huge town with a crazy tourist surge in the summertime, and this location does not have the space to accommodate. Number 2, everytime we come here, it’s freezing. Even when it’s warm outside. It makes the dining experience uncomfortable because it feels like the temperature is at 55F. Number 3, another entrance and exit to the location is desperately needed, it is nearly impossible to safety get to from the highway turnaround or coming from creekside.

The entrance/exit is dangerous the way the I-35 service road northbound U-turn and with significant traffic and barricades diving the lanes, it's dangerous to cut across and try to make the service road entrance on the service road side. The FM 306 entrance/exit isn't easy to access unless you illegally cut through the Exxon gas station to access the entrance/exit, unless I've missed a safe entrance/exit point on FM 306.I know this place is new, so the heard lines up and must wait outside. Not going to be acceptable on hot days, cold days, and definitely not tourist season. The service was disorganized. We didn't wait long for our food, but it was rushed, so I received 2 knives, no spoon or fork. Orders get mixed up because if the rushing around. It's crowded by servers running into eachother. I'm sure most of the service kinks will work themselves out, but location was a horrible place to anchor down.Food was good. Atmosphere might improve with time. Hopefully it's just new and everyone wants to try it out. Once that fades, maybe the negatives will dissipate.

this restaurant needs to find a manager we were there Wednesday night at 8ish. we got seated after a 30 minute wait, not bad. it went downhill from there. it took forever to get waitress just to get our drink orders. there was a gentleman and and toddler sitting at the table next to us that were seat way before us. he had been waiting for someone to take his order also. they took our order before his and we got our food before him. when he asked for a manager they accused him of being rude and obnoxious, which he never was. he was very respectful and calm the whole time while attending to his 3 year old. He had way more patients than i would of had then, then the manager had the audacity to give him a bill and arguedwith him in front of all of the restaurantabout it, he never got his food. I'm sorry Chuys but this was very unacceptable and not up to the standards I expected for a big chain like this.

I would have given 5 stars, but we were greeted with a very rude hostess. When she told my daughter our table was ready, she did, so in a tone that made my daughter think we weren't good enough to be there. I've been going to the original Chuys for 30 years and have never been treated like that. We didn't look homeless, so my only guess as to why she acted that way was because she thought she was working at The Driskill. A hostess is the first person you meet at a restaurant, so they give the customer the first impression of the restaurant. Since I've always loved Chuy's, I want them to succeed, which is why I'm writing this.I usually don't call out employees by name, but in this case, since I felt she could actually ruin this business, I will. Briley needs to either be retrained or she needs to fund a job with no interaction with people. The waiter, on the other hand, was amazing!!

This is my first time eating at Chuy's chain restaurant. I fully expected a typical chain restaurant, but the food was great, as was the service. Since we arrived just before lunch, the restaurant was full (a good sign) so we decided to sit at the bar. Even though we did not order alcohol, the male & female bartenders were fantastic, personable, and provided prompt service. We both had the Chuychangas, which were very good. The restaurant was very clean, bright, and inviting. My only minus was the noise level, but otherwise, it was a great place for lunch and reasonably priced.

The manager sat us at a broken table, 4 adults and child and when asked if we could get another table, he replied 'Yes, but you will have to wait!' When a large table opened up, I asked if we could move and he said yes and our waiter said 'once you get moved we will get your order' didn't even offer to help us. Brought us the wrong food, never refilled our drinks and if was the worse food and service ever!

We got here at 330 on a Monday afternoon. They said they didn't have enough servers so we're looking at least a 20 minute wait. Then we noticed the only place to sit and wait was outside on wet benches. They have all these empty tables but wouldn't sear us so we just seated ourselves. We'll see how their service and food is after we get a table, 8f we ever do...

First, a 30 minute wait for a table, ordered half and half margarita that came mostly full of ice cubes. Then, after getting a table and ordering, 30 min wait for food. A total disappointment. Mex-cobb salad - limp field greens and outer ice berg lettuce leaves served as the bed for cold, hard, tasteless chicken, grated cheese, past ripe tomatoes, scant green peppers and avocado. Baja Shrimp tacos - nearly tasteless shrimp but nice beans. Beef Fajitas - an abundance of food, beef was mostly tasteless. Very sad because we had heard many people rave about Chuy's food. Will try again in a few months, maybe.

Food was good just beware if you order a margarita on the rocks for approximately $7.00 you will receive a false bottomed beer mug fill to the top with ice and approximately 4 to 6 once of actual Margarita in said glass. Definitely not worth it. Save you money for the food.
