This place is the real deal. A hidden gem for sure. Traveling back home from a hunting trip my family and I made a quick stop here to enjoy some puffy tacos and really grateful we chose this spot. The charro beans were perfect and the rice was sensational. Everything had a true tejano flavor that brought back child memories of what you remember good food tasted like. Very hard to find these days. The service was extremely friendly. Wish I lived closer but we definitely will make this our new pit stop back and forth from now on.

We've come here before but never put in a review. The staff is friendly, the fajita chicken was grilled perfectly, and the charros were delicious. All at a great price. Don't miss out on this place.

Our waitress was beautiful and very kind; however, several aspects of our dining experience were concerning. A woman dragging a mop bucket around did not wash her hands before handling two customers' their plates,. The portions of our food were small. I ordered a quesadilla plate, which contained approximately one slice of fajita-style meat and cheese that appeared to be spoiled. The rice was the only palatable component. The flour tortillas were overcooked and crunchy. The guacamole was overly tangy due to excessive lime or lemon juice. The Agua Fresca did not taste like a fresh fruit drink; instead, it seemed to be a powdered mix, similar to Kool-Aid. This was our second visit to the establishment. During our first visit, I ordered the Chicharron with a large Menudo, but left feeling hungry. We had to purchase tacos from another restaurant after leaving. The prices are relatively high considering the quality and quantity of food offered. We spent approximately $37. The food is mediocre. I am providing an honest assessment for the benefit of potential customers and in the hope that the restaurant will make improvements. The prices are not accurately reflected on their menu, and a small sticky note on the front of the menu indicates that some prices have been adjusted, but they fail to specify which prices have been altered.

They have made $ changes not reflected on the menu. You don’t know the actual cost till you pay. Just a very small slip in the front on of the menu that say “our prices have changed” easily missed and when questioned at payout the lady (Alex) was RUDE. Said they are “not paying to reprint menus”. Okay the. Type a slip of paper and tape iver with new price. Just lazy. Food and service was great but will not be back. I loved that place.

My go-to place when I'm on the go and needing some tacos. Absolutely adore the ladies there.

I had a barbacoa taco, tripa taco, and menudo. The food was fresh and delicious! Definitely going to be a new favorite for me as a new New Braunfels resident. The service was excellent!
