Garden Buffet

My mom and I just had lunch everything was fresh and good until a cockroach crawled on our table. My first time there and it will be along time b4 going back. It was my mom's favorite place

This was clean and fresh dishes on the buffet. Good food and refilled our drinks on cue and toke our plates away this golden garden is a good spot for a nice meal

Decent buffet. Lots of choices for chicken and some for beef, seafood, and pork. Has sushi plus a Mongolian grill. Lots of desserts too.

I tried this place about six years ago & didn't like the food. Things change over time, so I tried it again. The food was hot & looked fresh. Most of what I chose tasted fair to good. The honey chicken had way too much breading & the chicken was super tough. I liked the sesame chicken & cream cheese wontons. However, a within 30 min after eating, I had to 'rush' to the bathroom, and again... 4 times within 2 hours. So, this place is now a "no-go" for me. The staff was friendly, so that's why I gave it two stars.

Good food you can tell they don't leave same dish under heat lamp all day they frequently swap out decent prices

Parking: Plenty of parking located next to movie theater in New Braunfels

I should’ve read the reviews before coming in to this place. The food was cold(my husband ended up throwing up that night?) the place was dirty and the quality of food is not worth the money. We won’t be back.

New worker benny was so amiable, saw him doing his resume, but still accommodated to me and my family's needs. Really cool.Food also seems to be getting slightly better, more quality controls.

the new male teen “benny” front desk came in clutch, changed the whole atmosphere of the restaurant. He is really friendly. I remember coming here back when I was a kid and it was decent, but a few years ago the management changed. Maybe it’s comeback??they really need the change the way they run this restaurant!

From my side, the Sushi is awesome. Rarely have I seen trays low on food unless late at night for obvious reasons. Staff has been polite and courteous.

Food too cold to meet safety standards. Smells awful. Saw beneath one water bath and it looked I cleaned for years. Disgusting. Won’t be back.

The food was good and fresh. The sushi is well done, fries were crispy, and the buffet is clean and has plenty of options. I've seen so many bad reviews of this place but honestly it's pretty good, I'm confused.

Vegetarian options: The buffet includes veggie rolls, vegetarian sushi, salads, fried noodles, etc.

Parking: Plenty of parking, no problem whatsoever.

Showed up at 8:20. They close at 9. Barely any food at all. No additional food brought out except for rice and noodles. No meat. No sushi. Just tell us your winding down and the food is limited, but don't charge me full price for full buffet. It's summer and people are coming in late. Super after a long day at Schlitterbahn.

The waitress said 2 words to me thank you, she never smiled. The eating area needed a deep cleaning and so does the buffet serving area. You would of been thinking with the place closed during covid (all restaurant) would of had time themself being owner taken the time to clean .I feel sick thinking what does the kitchen look like.

They get a one because you're not giving the option to rate lower.Its really sad that it's becoming harder and harder to get quality food and service for the prices we as consumers have to pay.I realize that we all as tax payers and business owners are paying more for everything these days.The food at this place at this giving day was sub par just to be nice on this forum.Crawfish was old I couldn't eat it,just be short and to the point the WHOLE buffet selection looked old and lifeless.the ice melted in my tea glass the waiter never refilled it or asked I didn't say a word!!I let the waiter slit his own throat,I believe in tipping and I am a generous tipping person I myself am in the service industry.Needless to say this waiter didn't get a red cent from me!! Not only that I will never step foot in this establishment ever again

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I will be turning them in for a health inspection. We had a group gather for a family occasion and no one finished any of their main dishes! They were so gross and each bite of a different dish, we were hoping for it to get better but it was worse! We discussed leaving. Ended up sitting visiting and just taking up table space! 3 of 4 in our family felt ill and needed restroom facilities! We will NEVER be back! Disgusting just thinking about this to write it! Too much money to make yourself sick!
