Very rarely do I give recommendations, this is one of the few. You have to meet the bartender Logan, who is absurdly knowledgeable about every type of concoction and liquor. He is why I am writing this review. My gf is very particular, and seldom a drinker, she prefers sweet, fruity drinks, while this bar caters to business cocktails. Logan went out of his way to make her a passionfruit tiki drink with gin all while providing thorough history on the drinks and liquors being used....
This place is a gem! Hand crafted drinks made with pride. If you are lucky enough to have James as your bartender be ready for a special experience. James is extremely knowledgeable about the history of drinks- all you gotta do is ask!
This underground speakeasy was an awesome place to go for a drink after spending the day in Gruene. The drinks are great quality, and the service is super attentive. The only thing I would note, is that there is very limited seating. You are not guaranteed a seat, but you are guaranteed to have a good time if you enjoy a good historical feel. Drinks are not cheap, but that’s how you know it will be worth it. The speakeasy is NOT kid friendly, but there is an are above the speakeasy...
