I went here only to pick up cheese. I can’t eat cow dairy and the owner was so helpful to let me try the sheep options and to find me exactly what I needed to make my homemade pizza a success. Good customer service like this is hard to find. She was patient and kind. Highly recommend this little shop. Can’t speak on the restaurant part since I didn’t eat there.

My heart be still. This venue specializes in chocolate, cheese, and wine. I stopped in during a shopping day for a much needed chocolate break. I relaxed on an arm chair while I people watched and enjoyed the Christmas decor on San Antonio street. The chocolate was divine.I will most definitely be back and will bring friends. Every town should have a Gourmage.

We were gifted a cheese making class. It was such an experience for a foodie like me. Stephanie was so sweet and informative and walked us through the process. We each made 5 four ounce servings. It was a good amount of cheese for us each to take home. After we walked to the farmers market to get fresh basil. I would highly recommend this class!!

This place is a joke. She didn’t even have the basic bri. She was also very Curt w me (Hispanic) and nice to my friend ( white). Because her cheese selection was a joke i reluctantly ordered the chicken salad on croissant. But they didn’t have a croissant so she put it on a baguette. It was literally the size of my small palm. The chicken tasted old. How do people like this stay in business? She was so dry and rude and the music was so loud it was hard to have a decent conversation. Just go to HEB ! Their chicken salad and cheese way better! Lmao I just can’t stop laughing at this place and the tiny sandwich and the lack of cheese ! Reading the other comments about how rude she is to Hispanics and in general I’m surprised she has any business at all

Love visiting Gourmage! Thoughtful wine and cheese selections. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine and a cheese plate. Stephanie always lowers the lights with the time of day to keep a chic cafe ambiance.
Staff was super nice, helpful and very friendly. All I went to was for their ciabatta bread which was frozen. Once I got him put them in the oven and it was delicious. They have an amazing assortments of wonderful things.

While browsing the shops in the center of New Braunfels, we stopped in to Gourmage just to see what they had to offer. They had a very interesting mix of offerings from cheese, to sausage, to nuts and bread…and wine and beer, of course. The very pleasant woman that we spoke to fixed us a plate of smoked cheese and sausage that was excellent, and even better once we added a beer. The perfect place for stop while shopping.
