Good service and great food reasonably priced
I enjoyed the food
First time here n the cashier after telling her it was our first time had the customer service of a rock
When I asked her abt the sides she just pointed to the whole menu above her
Not helpful at all it was almost like you’re bothering her!!!!
So don’t expect great customer service ZERO personality but passing her the food was great!!!!
I've been going to Granzins for over 30 years. It's a local mainstay. Recently I've noticed consistancy lacks some. If I grab a sliced beef sandwich at lunch it's typically moist but occasionally the meat is a bit dried out for dinner. Just offering constructive feedback.
Granzin's is my go to for some of the best BBQ and has the best sweet tea (and potato salad) in town!
What in the world? Finally decided to try this place after seeing it for 20 years. I should have kept on driving by it. It was like the Twilight Zone inside. I wasn’t even sure if they were open on a Monday at 5 PM. Not one single customer inside, they’re all in the drive thru?
Also, some wonderful gentleman that either works there or does business there(?) was so nice to beeline on the sidewalk and cut in front of me and my daughter as we walked in the door, only so that the staff could make us wait and then move around him? Unreal. Customer is not first here. If this is an employee, even worse. I almost left before I walked in! Extremely rude.
I should have walked. We ordered a whole chicken and they weren’t even sure if they had chicken. They had to check twice before ringing me up. That made me nervous.
Our food was extremely salty and greasy and pretty much gross. They also asked me if I wanted bread, pickles onions and sauce. Like I want a whole chicken just plain???
Overall I am unimpressed heavily. In fact, I’d say I’m disappointed in Granzins. They have a great meat market but this restaurant is questionable. Also the parking lot is a maze that proves difficult to enter and exit.
I would not return and I would not recommend this place to family or friends.
My favorite thing to get is the dried sausage!!!!
Had the catfish special with beans and coleslaw. Lent special. Very good. Wish catfish was on the regular menu.
The Granzin Taco (carne guisada, potato, and cheese) and Brisket Longhorn Taco (brisket, lettuce, avocado, and cheese) are my favorites! Their sweet tea is just the right amount of sweet.
Good food, reasonable price.
Food was great!!
Servings are small and ribs were tough and dry
Restaurantji Recommends
Just tried to go to the restaurant inside, 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening. Restaurant is already locked and closed up for the night. Drove all the way into town to grab some BBq. Very disappointed. Checked the hours before driving in, was supposed to be open until 8pm.
1st time here. Wasn't busy at all, had the special. Staff was friendly, and the order came out quick. The food was great, too. Will return with the platoon.
Wow! I'm very disappointed. The brisket was very tough and dry. The ribs were chewy and hard to get off the bone. The turkey was good but cut extraordinarily thin. The sides were adequate, but nothing to really remember. The layout is dysfunctional and needs a serious rethink. There are so many choices for great BBQ in the area, I don't think I'll give this one a second try as I normally would. The owner needs to visit some competitors in the area and benchmark against them.
Amazing deals and quality on all of the sandwiches, the chicken salad being one of my favorites.
The brisket leaves much to be desired but it's priced accordingly.
Got my tea fix
