Tried this place for the first time after many years of seeing it. I ordered the General Chicken, since it was listed as a specialty. The general chicken was disappointing, it had a bit of a smokey/burnt flavor, and was a little tough to chew. The presentation was nice, but flavor failed to deliver. My waitress came by to check on me at least twice. Not sure what to think at this point. I would consider giving it another try, based on other reviews and photos. But my first visit...
The atmosphere is relaxing. It was good pricing for the amount of food we recieved. The kids enjoyed it . The waiter was friendly and helped us with any questions we had about the menu.
In comparison to other similar restaurants in town I choose J plus. The food is fresh and hot. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the general tso chicken. The hot and sour soup is also good.
