I have eaten at La Palapas a number of times but this time I tried the LP Superbowl with carne guisada. It was great. You can have a chioce of different meats if you don't like carne guisada. The bowl contains rice (this rice was very moist, I don't like dry spaninsh rice) charro beans, couple of slices of avocaldo, cheese sauce, the meat, and a bit of lettuce in the bottom, very little lettuce (good). All for $8.99, good price now days. The waitress was a little lax but I enjoyed the meal. My wife had the puffy taco and she was happy too.

Each time that I have gone to this Las Palapas drive-through, I have been greeted with so much joy and respect and when I go in the evenings, I love to be greeted by Caroline. Anyone would be lucky to be served by her, she absolutely enjoys the customers and has given some of the best Las Palapas customer service that I have seen in a very long time. The food is great and the entire restaurant is very welcoming.

Love this place for many reasons, but specifically for the Al Carbon salad. I always get it with a mixture of chicken and beef and refried instead of charro beans and it’s consistently delicious. Luis is a great waiter who is very attentive and always seems to be enjoying his job!
